Aims and Scope

Journal of Korean and Asian Arts (KAA) is a peer-reviewed English language journal for interdisciplinary research on Korean and Asian art studies. Its purpose is to promote communication and exchange among the global art studies community, especially among scholars based in Asian countries. KAA publishes manuscripts focusing on art studies, including (but not limited to) music, drama, film, multimedia, dance, visual arts, traditional arts, art education, and art management. By doing so, KAA further highlights social, historical, and cultural interactions between Korea and other parts of Asia, as well as studies covering a broader geographic area with Asia as a central part.
