한반도 분단의 정확한 원인 규명

Finding out the Exact Cause of the Division of Korean Peninsular

초록

한반도의 분단은 한반도에서 한국인에 의해 구성된 두 개의 주권적 정치단위가 등장하여 한반도를 분할 지배하는 것을 말한다. 한반도 분단의 원인이란 남북한의 어느 지역에서 주권적 정치단위가 설립되는 것이나 한반도가 두 개의 주권적 정치단위의 배타적 영토로 분리되는 것을 초래하는데 필연적이고 우선적인 작용을 한 요인을 말한다. 이제까지 많은 학자들이 한반도 분단의 원인으로 여러 가지 요인들을 지적해왔다. 그러나 그러한 요인들은 한반도에서 복수의 주권적 정치단위의 등장이나 한반도를 복수의 영토로 분리하는 것을 초래하는데 필연적우선적 작용을 하지 않았다. 따라서 이제까지 많은 학자들이 한반도 분단의 원인이라고 말했던 것들은 실제에 있어서는 한반도 분단의 원인이 아니었다. 한반도 분단의 초래에 필연적우선적 작용을 한 요인은 1945년 8월부터 1946년 가을까지의 약 1년 동안 소련이 북한에서 취한 38선 봉쇄, 남한에 대한 미국의 통치와 이질적인 통치, 북조선임시인민위원회 설립, 사회주의 지향적인 변혁 실시 등과 같은 조치들이다. 소련의 그러한 조치들이 한반도 분단의 정확한 원인이었다.

Abstract

The political division of Korean Peninsular means the establishment of two sovereign Korean political units in the peninsular and the splitting of the peninsular into the exclusive territories of the two sovereign political units. The cause(s) of the division of Korean Peninsular is(are) the factor(s) worked necessarily and predominantly in bringing about the separate establishment of a sovereign Korean political unit in one half of Korean Peninsular or the conversion of one half of the peninsular into the exclusive territory of the separate political unit. Until now many scholars have argued various factors as the causes of the division of Korean Peninsular. But the various factors did not work necessarily and predominantly in bringing about the separate establishment of a sovereign Korean political unit in one half of Korean Peninsular or the conversion of one half of the peninsular into the exclusive territory of the separate political unit. There was one other factor worked necessarily and predominantly in bringing about the division of Korean Peninsular. That was the efforts exerted by Soviet Russia in North Korea for about a year between August 1945 and autumn 1946 such as the blockade of 38 parallel, the establishment of North Korean Provisional People’s Committee, the enforcement of people’s democratic transformation. The efforts of Soviet Russia were the exact cause of the division of Korean Peninsular.
