A Study on Relationship between Health Services Quality and Customer's Satisfaction in Oriental Medicines

Abstract

Purpose: This study was conducted to understand Oriental medical health services and analyze the relations between the perceived Oriental medical health services and the effect influencing patient satisfaction as well as intentions of re-visit to hospitals. Method: SPSS 10.0, a statistical processing method, was used to process the study data and Frequency and ANOVA analysis were used to analyze the differences. Also, Pearson correlation coefficient was performed to analyze the relations between work satisfaction and health services quality as well as patient satisfaction and intentions of re-visit to hospitals. Results: Respectively, meeting patient satisfaction, but improvement was in need in facility and medical equipment in discussion of study on patients. Implications with work type, the time period in which one was holding a job and work satisfaction were: the longer one was holding a job, the higher were satisfaction and also satisfaction with health services in discussion of study on doctors and staff. Staff's recognition of health services quality showed lower personal satisfaction as patient in facility and efforts to improve the health services in co-relations between health services quality and patient satisfaction. Conclusion: Higher quality and satisfaction with Oriental medical health services are going to improve total re-use intention to a significant degree.
