울산 달리마을 풍속에 따른 농악의 갈래와 구성에 관한 제시

농경에서 비롯된 울산 남구 달리마을 농악은 1980년대만 하더라도 울산문화원에서 장·노인층에 의해 세시풍속으로 조금씩 행해왔다. 지금은 급격한 사회 환경의 변화로 본모습을 알 수 없고, 이 또한 사라져가고 있다. 이러한 어려움에도 불구하고 울산남구문화원은 달동 지역에서 유래된 달리농악을 복구하고자 노력하고 있다. 이 연구는 1936년 일본 학자가 기록한 달리 지역의 문헌을 통하여 그 당시의 역사와 생활모습, 세시풍속을 정리하였다. 이를 통하여 달리농악에 대한 기본적인 농악의 갈래와 구성에 대하여 방향을 제시하였다. 이 연구에서는 첫째, 문헌을 통하여 달리 지역의 농악 갈래를 농경과 함께한 노작농악으로 확인하였다. 둘째, 달리 지역에서 행하였던 세시풍속과 농경의 노동 행위를 근거로 농악의 구성을 확인하였다. 셋째, 노작농악에서 타 지역의 사례를 본보기로 하여 달리농악의 작품을 실행할 수 있는 기본 틀을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구 성과는 과거 1936년 달리 지역에서 왕성하게 이루어진 달리농악을 복구할 수 있게 방향을 제시하였다.

Abstract
Ulsan Namgu Dali Village Nongak, which originated from an agricultural society, was occasionally performed by the elderly as a seasonal custom in Ulsan Namgu Munwhawon (the Ulsan South Cultural Center) until 1980. However, it has gradually disappeared due to the dramatic changes of the social environment in Ulsan. Despite these difficulties, Ulsan Namgu Munwhawon is working to restore Dali Nongak that originated in Daldong. This research is an attempt to reestablish the traditional form of Dali Nongak in its compositional structure. It aims to compile the lifestyle, seasonal customs and the history of Dali based on literature a Japanese scholar recorded in 1936 with regard to Dali. Through this research, it was found that Dali Nongak was an elaborate Nongak in its form, which was played for the agricultural success of the region. Its formation went hand in hand with agricultural labor and seasonal customs of the village. The formations of elaborate Nongak in other regions were illustrated as examples that show a connection between seasonal customs and Nongak. I wish this study to become a foundation for recovering the original form of Dali Nongak, from when it was actively played in the agricultural environment of the 1930s.
