Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the expectation of franchisees to their franchisers before contracting and perceived performance after actually operation. The analysis data was collected from 789 franchisees located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do of South Korea. The findings are as followings: first, the gap between expectation of franchisees and perceived performance was negative and it becomes an necessary for franchise managers to manage the expectation of franchisees by using various effective marketing strategies. Second, the gaps were different among different franchise industrial classifications and the gap in the food-service industry is the largest.

Abstract

Since circulation market whole surface opening, traditional market is real condition that is looked away more gradually to consumer as reasons of international retail firms and domestic enterprise firms to enter distribution industry, internet mail order rapid increase by information-oriented society, the pursuit of upgradation and normalization by elevation of income level and consumption pattern change that consideration convenience with young consumers as the central figure. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze stagnation cause of traditional market and problem within a change of new distribution environment, and to develop new approaches for dealing with domestic traditional market relationship prompting competition through activation example analysis of foreign traditional market and domestic traditional market. The result of the study indicated that there are a lot of cases that are begun by a few's merchant with leadership that has been will which is strong in activation in beginning in market's occasion that succeed in activation. In particular, software side such as operational efficiency or marketing expertise strengthening of management is that effect is high relatively than hardware side market activation. Also essential to the settlement of credit transactions using credit cards is important for expanding the effort, for the expansion of credit card merchant credit card advantage and raise awareness among traders about the expected effects is needed. Though these study finding submits plan that create market ecosystem so that many consumers may become place that could visit naturally and create pleasure and convenience, and time, monetary, psychological value of shopping to traditional market, there is sense.

Abstract

Currently, franchise industries are constantly rising in the domestically and it is possible to predict that franchise industries will rapidly develop internationally. Local Franchisee markets are increasing quickly and in year 2010 their income will exceed 114 trillion won. Annually, new franchise system is being born; however, there are only few industries that success in the market. When circulation market was opened for foreign franchise industries, their numbers of franchisee were rapidly increasing; however, domestic franchise industries are not securing new franchise and strengthening current franchise 's man power moreover these implements are being discarded. Therefore, in this research shows that development procedures of franchise division and utilization of personnel, and subsequent to this research indicates that changes of scales and income of cooperate growth will determine numbers of manpower on franchise industry. N ow days, when we are looking at personnel in franchise industries, they need more personnel in distribution, finance, and accounting department, so this phenomenon formalize life cycle of organization and its stages. When we are considering life cycle of organization, needs of human resource on future is important.

Abstract

The key success factors for Franchise Enterprise as a virtual company which is established based on franchise system are the competitiveness of sub-systems in franchise system such as franchisor, franchisee, vendor(supplier), and customer, and to sustain the symbiotic relationship among sub-systems. In this regard, evaluating franchise system is considered to be implemented in different contexts and methods comparing with extant evaluation system in franchise business which is more focused on the relationship between franchisor and franchisee. The flagship role of establishing franchise system is to be franchisor system, however, the symbiotic relationship among other sub-system including franchisee, vendor, and customer leads to successful Franchise Enterprise. The purpose of this study is to research existing evaluation systems for franchise business and to explore the model of evaluating franchise system, what is called, "Symbiosis Index".

Abstract

Today, banks offer banking services to a large number of customers by a branch network spread all over the nation. The quantity and quality of services are advanced by fierce competition in their field. So they are attracting customers based on high confidence in the financial industry. In spite of these developments, the retail bank market currently does not satisfy customers demands and various desires. In this research, the problems with banking services were observed. It was proposed that the banking services apply a franchise business model. First, this proposal will reduce the business expenses by collaborating profits with head office of banks and affiliates. Second, it will offer greater satisfaction to the customers. Through the mutual collaboration with head office of banks and affiliates in this proposal, it is anticipated that banks will reduce their business expenses and improve services for customers by offering convenient and fast banking services. It is also expected that the banks will expand and make up their weakness through increased profit and customers will be provided additional services.

Abstract

This practical study is to propose a model for efficiently implementing franchise management by Franchise Enterprise in franchise industry. Franchise system is established and mutual relationship is also fulfilled based on bilateral contract between franchisor and franchisee. After contract and opening the franchisee store, franchisees are continually supervised and administered according to mutually agreed process and procedures. In this regard, franchisor should have well-managed system for supervising and assisting franchisee efficiently and effectively. The purpose of this study is to set-up the concept of enterprise contract management(ECM) in Franchise Enterprise and to promote the systemization of franchise management, and also to present and propose the development tool for franchise-specific IT program which is called " Franchise Contract Management'Supervising System".
