Abstract

In order to examine the effects of self-congruity on functional congruity, brand attitude and behavioral intention in name-brand coffee shops, this study attempted to examine the self-congruity in two types which are nonsocial-type SC and social-type SC. The results showed that self-congruity had positive significant effects on functional congruity and nonsocial-type SC influenced to functional congruity more than social-type SC. Also, these two types of self-congruity didn't have direct significant effects on brand attitude. But it had significant effects on brand attitude through the functional congruity. Finally, brand attitude positively impacted on behavioral intention. These findings provide managers in name-brand coffee shops with strategies for implementing more effective brand image building as well as focusing on satisfying customer's functional congruity.

Abstract

This study is to examine the impact of sales franchisor's relationship-oriented efforts(flexibility, problem solving support, customization, information exchange, and supervisor characteristics) on relationship quality(satisfaction, trust, and commitment) and recontract intentions. In order to analyze proposed model, this study collected the 233 franchisees with owner or hired manager. The data were analyzed with SPSS/PC 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. First, to test unidimensionality and nomological validity of the measures of each construct we employed a scale refinement procedure. The result of reliability test with confirmatory factor analysis warranted unidimensionality of the measures for each construct. The findings are as follows: First, relationship-oriented efforts had positive effects on relationship quality (satisfaction, trust, and commitment) of franchisee. Second, satisfaction had positive effect on trust, but did not on recontract intentions. Third, trust had positive effects on commitment and recontract intentions, respectively. Finally, commitment had a positive effect on recontract intentions. At the end of this paper, managerial implications and limitations and future research directions were suggested.

Abstract

Looking at the case of countries or companies, the success and failure can be found a certain repetitive 'Pattern'. In this paper, global franchise company factors determine the success or failure of the Burger King on the market dynamism perspective, and looked to discuss its implications. The success or failure of a company in a country like pattern of the growth and erosion and stagnation and decline, and the pursuit of sustainable growth through relentless improvement reactivated. Burger King has more to strengthen brand equity oriented by the world's best restaurant through the development of aggressive marketing activities in the global market to regain its former glory.

This study was carried out to demonstrate how realistic any action that causes the selection criteria for new members to join the decisions of the general public about the growing recreational sport of golf to the present day.
