ISO abbreviation  of the journal title and Alternate title : Abbreviation of this journal tite is J. Korean Soc. Math. Educ. Ser. B: Theoretical Math. Pedagogical Math. Alternate title is Theoretical Mathematics and Pedagogical Mathematics.

The predecessor of Theoretical Mathematics and Pedagogical Mathematics is the academic journal ‘The Pure and Applied Mathematics’. It was re-launched as Theoretical Mathematics and Pedagogical Mathematics after expanding and advancing its research areas and topics.

Aims and Scope: The journal TMPM is a multidisciplinary journal covering all branches of theoretical mathematics and pedagogical mathematics. The major areas, such as Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, Topology, Applied mathematics (Mathematics for Information Sciences, Financial Mathematics, etc.), Algebra education, Analysis education, Geometry education, and mathematics history are all included. The journal TMPM welcomes research papers of original work with high quality in all branches of theoretical mathematics and pedagogical mathematics.

Launching : It has been published since 1994. Its website http://www.jksmeb.org has been opened since 2012.

Frequency : It is published quarterly, February, May, August and November, by the Korean Society of Mathematical Education.

The Korean Society of Mathematical Education was founded in 1962 and one of the main academic society of Mathematics and Mathematics Education in Korea. We should mention that we use ‘Korean’ instead of ‘Korea’ in the names of the Society and journal from 2009.
