Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a new system of set-valued variational inclusion problems in semi-inner product spaces. We use resolvent operator technique to propose an iterative algorithm for computing the approximate solution of the system of set-valued variational inclusion problems. The results presented in this paper generalize, improve and unify many previously known results in the literature.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to examine some types of slant submanifolds of bronze Riemannian manifolds. We introduce hemi-slant submanifolds of a bronze Riemannian manifold. We obtain integrability conditions for the distribution involved in quasi hemi-slant submanifold of a bronze Riemannian manifold. Also, we give some examples about this type submanifolds.

Abstract

In the present paper, we introduce the notation of 𝛿-convex rectangular metric spaces with the help of convex structure. We investigate fixed point results concerning Kannan-type contraction and Reich-type contraction in such spaces. We also propound an ingenious example in reference of given new notion.

Abstract

The present paper deals with the upper bound of third order Hankel determinant for a certain subclass of analytic functions associated with Cardioid domain in the open unit disc E = {z ∈ ℂ : |z| < 1}. The results proved here generalize the results of several earlier works.

Abstract

We introduce a special class of structured frames having single generators in finite dimensional Hilbert spaces. We call them as pseudo B-Gabor like frames and present a characterisation of the frame operators associated with these frames. The concept of Gabor semi-frames is also introduced and some significant properties of the associated semi-frame operators are discussed.

Abstract

In this paper, we give an extended version of fixed point results for 𝜃-contraction and 𝜃-𝜙-contraction and define a new type of contraction, namely, cyclic 𝜃-contraction and cyclic 𝜃-𝜙-contraction in a complete metric space. Moreover, we prove the existence of best proximity point for cyclic 𝜃-contraction and cyclic 𝜃-𝜙-contraction. Also, we establish best proximity result in the setting of uniformly convex Banach space.

Abstract

In the previous paper [4], we classified the Weierstrass semigroups at a pair of inflection points of multiplicities d and d - 1 on a smooth plane curve of degree d. In this paper, as a continuation of those results, we classify all semigroups each of which arises as a Weierstrass semigroup at a pair of inflection points of multiplicities d, d - 1 and d - 2 on a smooth plane curve of degree d.

Abstract

In the last few decades, a lot of generalizations of the Banach contraction principle have been introduced. In this paper, we present the notion of (𝜙, F)-contraction in generalized asymmetric metric spaces and we investigate the existence of fixed points of such mappings. We also provide some illustrative examples to show that our results improve many existing results.

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the notion of partial S-metric space and prove a common fixed point theorem in the respective setting. An example is presented to show the effectiveness of this approach.
