본 연구는 청소년의 복합외상과 대인관계문제에서 부정적자동적사고의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 광주에 있는 중학교 3개교, 고등학교 3개교에 재학 중인 학생 543명이었으며, 측정도구로는 외상경험척도(Trauma Antecedents Questionnaire: TAQ), 학교폭력척도, 아동 청소년용 자동적사고척도(K-CATS: Korea Children's Automatic Thoughts Scale), 한국형 대인관계문제 검사(Korea Inventory of Interpersonal Probleme: KIIP-SC)가 사용되었다. 수집된 자료에 대한 기술적 통계와 상관분석하였고, 다중회귀분석을 실시하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 복합외상경험, 부정적 자동적 사고, 대인관계문제 간에 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성별에 따른 매개효과 검증 결과, 남/여 집단에서 부정적 자동적 사고는 복합외상 경험과 대인관계 문제에 있어서 부분 매개효과를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to validate the mediated effects of automatic negative thoughts with respect to the problems associated with interpersonal relationships and complex trauma among adolescents. A total of 640 adolescents, who attended one of the three middle and high schools in Kwangju area in Korea, participated in this study. As measuring instruments, Trauma Antecedents Questionnaire (TAQ), school violence scale, Korea Children's Automatic Thoughts Scale (K-CATS), and Korea Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (KIIP-SC) were used. This study analyzed the correlation between collected data and descriptive statistics, verifying the mediating effect by conducting multiple regression analysis. According to the analysis, there was a positive relationship among complex trauma experience, negative automatic thought, and interpersonal problem, which were all meaningfully related to one another. Moreover, as a result of verifying the mediating effect for different sex, complex trauma experience and interpersonal problem were partially mediated by negative automatic thoughts in both males and femals. In additon, limitations and implications of this study were discussed based on these results.
