Abstract

Recently, various types of wearable computers have been studied. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of head motion information for the operation of the motion classifier produced motion headset that the user can use while listening to music. The prototype receives music from smart phone over bluetooth communications, and transmits the motion information measured by the acceleration sensor to the smart phone. And the smartphone classifies the motion of the head through a motion classifier. we implemented a prototype for our experiment. The user's head motion "up", "down", "left" and "right" were classified using a Bayesian classifier. As a result, in case of the movement of the head "up" and "down", there are a large changes in the x, z-axis values. In future we have a plan to perform a user study to find suitable variables for creating motion classifier.

Abstract

They produces the products using conveyer belts in many factories. However, so many accidents are occurred in the conveyer belts at the factories. It needs to prevent the any kinds of accidents in the conveyer belts. In this paper, we designed the smart conveyer belt and developed the smart conveyer control mechanism that provides more safe operation. Particularly, We proposed the methodologies to control conveyer belt using smart phone to prevent the accidents. Through this study, we expect the smart conveyer will be adapt to not only factories but also various kind of conveyer such as escalator in the subway.

Abstract

MicroSoft Windows 10 IoT version, released in August 2015, successfully drew consumer interest by introducing the familiar Windows into the IoT market, and enabled an easier system construction of IoT web servers. Meanwhile, overdiagnosis has recently emerged as a controversy in medical society. Establishment of communication between IoT servers and medical devices will send treatment results to users and activate communication between hospitals, greatly reducing this problem. The IoT server, with its limited resources, utilizes lightweight protocols that do not generate traffic and are easy to use. This paper proposes IoT networks which will enable medical devices to easily provide ubiquitous environments to their users, through utilization of the lightweight Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP) and the secure Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP).

Abstract

In this paper, it is possible to update the tourist information in real time, on/off-line tour proposes a solution(BBTS) based on a bluetooth beacon can provide tourist information without the need for wireless data network. BBTS consists of a bluetooth based data of the low-power supply system and the beacons and interoperable smart applications. Data supply system consists of the BLE & Beacon Pairing-based / non-pairing data transmission module with integral hardware. Smart application modules that provide indoor location of users information, internal server module and tourist information collection and information guide around comprised of applications. The proposed BBTS is possible that indoor service tourism tourist demand due to utilizing the beacon technology. Outdoor tourist information is designed to be downloaded to the smartphone receives the information received from the beacon APK file to provide services. BBTS system is expected to make a big impact on the smart tourism services industry.

Abstract

These days, many people are interested in healthy eating. They want to buy organic fruits and organic vegetables for their wellbeing life or to grow the plants themselves. However, if you buy the organic fruits or vegetables carrying costs a lot of money, it would be difficult to bring the plants directly. In this paper, we propose the Smart Plant Growth Chamber to grow plants directly at home. Through proposed the Smart Plant Growth Chamber, users can grow the plants with minimum effort in optimized environment without need to know detailed information about to grow the plants. Also, users can feel fun of growing plants through online activities of the smart plant growth chamber, it is believed to contribute to a health eating.

Abstract

An IP address is used as a host identifier and a locator to bind hosts and applications to their location in existing Internet. Several protocols are proposed to eliminate this binding. Most of these protocols use IPv6-based host identifiers to maintain compatibility with existing Internet, but these identifiers cannot be handled by standard IPv6 routers because such identifiers are unroutable. Therefore, host identifiers need to be usually converted to locators at hosts, and the standard IPv6 protocol should be modified to interoperate with these protocols. In this paper, we propose a network-based host identifier locator separating scheme in software-defined networking. The proposed scheme separates the underlying network into Host Identity and IP domains in order to directly forward unroutable identifiers. The Host Identity domain operates as an overlaid network over IP domain, and it makes the unroutable identifiers to be routable using distributed hash table based routing strategy. For the evaluation, we compared the proposed scheme with the previous scheme using signaling costs and packet delivery costs. The result shows that the proposed scheme is more suitable in the recent mobile-based environments.
