Abstract

Although CT has an advantage in describing the three-dimensional anatomical structure of the human body, it also has a disadvantage in that high doses are exposed to the patient. Recently, a deep learning-based image reconstruction method has been used to reduce patient dose. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dose reduction and image quality improvement of deep learning-based reconstruction (DLR) on the adult's chest CT examination. Adult lung phantom was used for image acquisition and analysis. Lung phantom was scanned at ultra-low-dose (ULD), low-dose (LD), and standard dose (SD) modes, and images were reconstructed using FBP (Filtered back projection), IR (Iterative reconstruction), DLR (Deep learning reconstruction) algorithms. Image quality variations with respect to varying imaging doses were evaluated using noise and SNR. At ULD mode, the noise of the DLR image was reduced by 62.42% compared to the FBP image, and at SD mode, the SNR of the DLR image was increased by 159.60% compared to the SNR of the FBP image. Based on this study, it is anticipated that the DLR will not only substantially reduce the chest CT dose but also drastic improvement of the image quality.

Abstract

Purpose: To solve urban problems, empirical research is being actively conducted to implement a smart city based on various ICT technologies, and digital twin technology is needed to effectively implement a smart city. A digital twin is essential for the realization of a smart city. A digital twin is a virtual environment that intuitively visualizes multidimensional data in the real world based on 3D. Digital twin is implemented on the premise of the convergence of GIS and BIM, and in particular, a lot of time is invested in data pre-processing and labeling in the data construction process. In digital twin, data quality is prioritized for consistency with reality, but there is a limit to data inspection with the naked eye. Therefore, in order to improve the required time and quality of digital twin construction, it was attempted to detect a building using Mask R-CNN, a deep learning-based masking algorithm for aerial images. If the results of this study are advanced and used to build digital twin data, it is thought that a high-quality smart city can be realized.

Abstract

This paper conducted a feasibility study by applying an Internet of Things and Artificial intelligence-based management system for the elderly living alone in an aging society. The number of single-person families over the age of 50 is expected to increase, and problems such as health, safety, and loneliness may occur due to aging. Therefore, by establishing an IoT-based care system for the elderly living alone, a stable service was developed through securing a rapid response system for the elderly living alone and automatically reporting 119. The participants of the demonstration test were subjects under the jurisdiction of the "Seongnam Senior Complex," and the data collection rate between the IoT sensor and the emergency safety gateway was high. During the demonstration period, as a result of evaluating the satisfaction of the IoT-based care system for the elderly living alone, 90 points were achieved. We are currently in the COVID-19 situation. Therefore, the number of elderly living alone is continuously increasing, and the number of people who cannot benefit from care services will continue to occur. Also, even if the COVID-19 situation is over, the epidemic will happen again. So the care system is essential. The elderly care system developed in this way will provide safety management services based on artificial intelligence-based activity pattern analysis, improving the quality of in-house safety services.

Abstract

In this paper, we studied a system that can efficiently build security management for single-person households using Arduino, ESP32-CAM and PIR sensors, and proposed an Android app with an internet connection. The ESP32-CAM is an Arduino compatible board that supports both Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cameras using an ESP32-based processor. The PCB on-board antenna may be used independently, and the sensitivity may be expanded by separately connecting the external antenna. This system has implemented an Arduino-based Unauthorized intrusion system that can significantly help prevent crimes in single-person households using the combination of PIR sensors, Arduino devices, and smartphones. unauthorized intrusion system, showing the connection between Arduino Uno and ESP32-CAM and with smartphone applications. Recently, if daily quarantine is underway around us and it is necessary to verify the identity of visitors, it is expected that it will help maintain a safety net if this system is applied for the purpose of facial recognition and restricting some access. This technology is widely used to verify that the characters in the two images entered into the system are the same or to determine who the characters in the images are most similar to among those previously stored in the internal database. There is an advantage that it may be implemented in a low-power, low-cost environment through image recognition, comparison, feature point extraction, and comparison.

Abstract

In this paper, for efficient parking control, in an Arduino environment, an intelligent parking control prototype was implemented to provide parking control and parking guidance information using HC-SR2O4 and RC522. The main elements of intelligent parking control are vehicle recognition sensors, parking control facilities, and integrated operating software. Whether the vehicle is parked on the parking surface may be confirmed through sensor or intelligent camera image analysis. Parking control equipment products include parking guidance and parking available display devices, vehicle number recognition cameras, and intelligent parking assistance systems. This paper applies and implements ultrasonic sensors and RFID concepts based on Arduino, recognizes registered vehicles, and displays empty spaces. When a vehicle enters a parking space to handle this function, the automatic parking management system distinguishes the registered vehicle from the external vehicle through the RC522 sensor. In addition, after checking whether the parking slot is empty, the HC-SR204 sensor is displayed through the LED so that the driver can visually check it. RFID is designed to check the parking status of the server in real time and provide the driver with optimal route service to the parking slot.

Abstract

In this paper, many game companies seek better optimization and easy-to-apply logic to prolong the game's lifespan and provide a better game environment for users. Therefore, research will be showing the game's key input response method called RoS (Response of Speed). The purpose of the method is to simultaneously perform various motions with the character showing natural motion without errors even if the character's control key is duplicated. This method is for the developers so they can reduce bugs and development time in future game development. To be used with quickly generating game environments, the new method compares with the popular motion method, so which method is faster and can adapt to diverse games. The paper suggested that the Response of Speed method is a better method for optimizing frames and reducing the number of reacting seconds by showing a faster response and speed). With the method popularity of scrollers, many 2D cross-scroll games follow the formula of Dash, Shoot, Walk, Stay, and Crouch. With the development of game engines, it is becoming easier to implement them. Therefore, although the method presented in the above paper differs from the popular method, it is expected that there will be no great difficulty in applying it to the game because transplantation is easy. In the future, we plan to study to minimize the delay of each connection of the character motion so that the game can be optimized to best.
