Abstract
The <TEX>$^2H$</TEX> NMR analysis was used to determine the relative deuterium contents at the position of methyl and methylene in ethyl alcohols. Four different liquors manufactured in Korea clearly showed different R values from those of foreign liquors. These R values for the Korean liquors could be used to distinguish adulteration.
