Abstract

This research studied how the demographic features of general population have affected the problems such as gambling, Internet addiction and psychological Well-Being. According to the analysis in terms of the CPGI difference by the feature of population, men showed higher CPGI points than the case of women. For Gambling addiction level, the more they earned the average monthly incomes and allowances, the higher the addiction level they had comparatively. In terms of internet addiction level, men showed the tendency to be addicted easier than women and younger people had higher addiction. Unmarried people group seemed to show much higher level of Internet addiction than married people group. Also, much difference was confirmed in their internet addiction according to the average monthly income. Adult participants generally showed that their addiction levels of psychological Well-Being by sociological features of population depended closely on the factors such as sex, age and marital status. The result of this study indicated that there was a positive relationship between Internet addiction level and CPGI from the measurement of adult participants' gambling addiction level. The limitations and implications of the study were discussed.
