Abstract

Purpose - Along with the rise of foreign investments in the Korean stock market, there has been a variety of studies on their influence. The conflicting findings on the question of information asymmetry of foreign investors among existing literatures appear to be a result of mixture of research method problems, what information is defined as being comparable, individual business levels, or the entire stock market. This paper empirically investigates what factors contribute to foreign investments in firms in the Korean stock market. Research design, data, and Methodology - Samples are constructed by manufacturing firms listed on the stock market of Korea as well as those who settle accounts in December from 2001 to 2018. Financial institutions are excluded from the sample as their accounting procedures, governance and regulations differ. This study adopted the panel regression model to assess the sample construction including yearly and cross-sectional data. Result - This paper find that firms' R&D, dividends, size give significant positive impact to foreign investment, whereas debt gives significant negative impact to foreign investment. This relationship does not change when the samples are divided before and after the 2008 global financial crisis. Conclusion - This results support the literatures that foreign investors favor firms lowering their information asymmetry.

Abstract

Purpose - Amid the slump in the food market, the importance of customer experience marketing is being highlighted as a strategy to satisfy consumers' needs. Research design, data, and Methodology - The survey used part 280 of the answers for the hypothesis test. This study confirmed 280 parts (93.3%) as final valid samples, excluding 40 disloyal sections of 340 sections. The survey was conducted between December 1, 2018 and December 30, 2018. An investigative factorial analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to test the hypotheses. Result - The results showed that sensibility and recognition were influenced by positive brand attitudes, but sense did not affect brand attitudes; senses and sensations had a positive effect on satisfaction; recognition did not affect satisfaction; brand attitudes had a positive influence on satisfaction; and brand attitudes and satisfaction had a positive influence on revisit intention. Conclusion - This study analyzed the experiences of customers visiting a family restaurant in order to determine how those experiences impacted the customers' satisfaction, brand attitudes, and revisit intentions. Several interesting results were uncovered from the study.

Abstract

Purpose - This describes a comparative study about the Online banking system between developing country (Bangladesh) and developed country (South Korea). Research design, data, and Methodology - Use comparison as the descriptive situation, secondary data were used to determine the differences between both countries with respect to Online banking. And also show the representative cases of online banking, kakao bank and bKash. Result - The results showed that the data indicate that both nations are dissimilar in providing basic and additional services offered by their traditional commercial banks. And different cultures and traditions in financial industry will play a major role in the adaption and development of online banking industry among different nations. Belief on lack of effort on educating the consumers toward online banking further affected the usability of online banking in both countries. Conclusions - this comparative study provides insightful guidelines for the future development of online banking industry in developing nations and worldwide. Also, managerial and empirical implications are discussed with suggestions for future research.
