Abstract

Purpose - Along with the rapid growth of the economics and IT industry, E-commerce appears as the next potential area of world economics. For this no-entity shops commerce style, logistics is crucial for the success of E-commerce. Research design, data and methodology - In this paper, Dangdang.com, the largest online marketplace in China, is studied and a conceptual model is present, to develop a practical way to develop the logistics system in E-commerce situation. Results - This research finds that following 4 factors are critical success factors for E-commerce logistics: 1) logistics centres are very important to control the inventory management; 2) keep good cooperation with third-party logistics (3PL) can guarantee good quality shipping service and also can reduce delivery costs; 3) build strong information system; 4) quick response system also needed for an efficient logistics system. When E-commerce firms are developing their logistics systems, they should pay more attention to these 4 critical success factors. Conclusions - In summary, successful 3PL management is vital for competing regionally and globally throughout the logistics value chain. We see information system as an enabler in logistics management to get the right products to the right place in the right quantity at the right time and to provide quality services to satisfy the customer's needs.

Abstract

Purpose - This research mainly studied with the promotion of "one belt and one road "initiative's strategy and the construction of China, Japan and South Korea Free Trade Zone, China exports urgently needed industrial products to Japan and South Korea, which will not only help digest excess industrial capacity, optimize China's industrial structure, but also promote the economic development of Japan and South Korea. Research design, data, and Methodology - The study conducted a survey on 2018 year new revision of China-Korea Japan's data. Results -This study shows that In this process, multinational enterprises, as pioneers of economic development, play an irreplaceable role. However, due to the differences between laws of different countries and their own corporate culture concepts, enterprises in different countries will inevitably encounter various conflicts in the process of development. Conclusions -This requires our enterprises to have awareness of legal risk prevention in the process of development, and to study the corporate culture of relevant enterprises to truly achieve win-win cooperation.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this survey-based study was to identify the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities on corporate brand assets and consumer purchasing intentions, and to verify causal relationships between the variables. Research Question - The XCIP is the company's longest running program of its kind, taking a global approach to CSR. Xerox uses this initiative to fund employees in their local communities to make a difference in projects of their own choosing. Research Method-The survey period was conducted for about three months from May 3, 2018 to August 7, 2018, and a random sampling method was used. The total number of samples was 420, with 19 samples excluded from final analysis due to untruthful or erroneous responses. Result - In this study, the general characteristics of the survey participants were investigated as follows in analyzing the impact of CSR activities on brand assets and consumer purchasing intentions. First, male (51.6 percent) college graduates (42.4 percent) outnumbered female participants (40.2 percent), and participants in their 40s (30.7 percent) and 50s (23.8 percent) ranked highest, followed by general office workers (27.6 percent), business people, people in service positions, and people in sales positions.

Abstract

Purpose - There have been many studies regarding the preceding factors required for success of start-up. The purpose of this study is to verify one of the paths by which the individual characteristics of founders and governmental support lead to enhanced start-up performance, via entrepreneurship and network building. Research design, data, methodology - Data for this study was collected from surveys of 332 founders throughout South Korea, and statistical analyses of this data were performed using SPSS 22.0 and Smart PLS 2.0. To verify our hypothesis, path analysis was performed using a structural equation model. Results -The variables, entrepreneurial self-esteem and experience were found to have positive effects on the entrepreneurship and networks. Secondly, governmental support did not have significant positive effect on entrepreneurship, but it did have positive effect on networking. Thirdly, entrepreneurship and networking were confirmed to have positive effects on both the utilization of opportunities and financial performance, which are variables indicating start-up performance. Conclusion - Although founder's characteristics are important for success of start-up, it is also critically important to actively utilize governmental support. Notably, many founders suffer from inadequate networks. They would be able to enhance their start-up performance by utilizing various governmental support programs to reinforce their network capabilities.
