Abstract

Purpose - In the aviation industry, we will investigate the impact of users' acceptance of technology on their usage behavior and find out the factors that affect their acceptance of technology. We will expand the prior study to find out the impact of the self-service technology of Incheon Airport. Research design, data, and Methodology - The thesis was conducted on people using self-service technology at Incheon International Airport from July to August 2019. Part 307 of the valid questionnaires were used for this final analysis. The collected data were used to perform frequency, factor, reliability, and multiple regression analyses using the SPSS statistical package. Result - Individual aspects of external variables, service aspects, and systems aspects have been shown to affect usability and perceived ease of use. Usability and convenience have been shown to serve as intermediaries for users' technological acceptance. Conclusion - The perceived convenience and usefulness of Incheon International Airport has been shown to affect self-service users, while convenience and usefulness have been shown to serve as intermediaries for technology acceptance purposes. In other words, raising expectations for convenience, rapid processing, benefits and so on will have a positive impact on the intent to accept.

Abstract

Purpose - Strategic causes for the failure include unrealistic growth, overexpansion, unfamiliar new markets, volume obsession, unrealistic promises and poor project selection. Organizational causes are insufficient capital and profits, lack of business knowledge, poor financial management, poor sales skills, inadequate marketing, poor leadership, poor leadership transfer, project losses, poor field performance and owner bankruptcy. Uncontrollable causes include industry and economic weakness and banking and surety changes. While helpful, the list provides insufficient clarity regarding the causal roots of failure. Research design, data and methodology - The research framework to organize the information involved with many of the recent and large failures in the industry. Results - This research then identified five dominant root causes - excessive egoism, poor strategic leadership, too much change, loss of discipline and inadequate capitalization. Conclusion - Finally, additional input from external forces may accelerate the firm's pace to failure. It is important on the development of diagnostic tools that are based on this model and that will provide new ways to assess a conglomerate's level of risk for incurring a financial crisis.

Abstract

Purpose: This research explores possibilities for unique tourism programs in the Port of Incheon that would bring tourism benefits from the cruise line industry to Incheon. This research also tries to find practical strategies and principles for the cruise line industry by reviewing the current itinerary in the cruise line industry. Research design, data, and methodology: Because this study is exploratory research, it first reviews trends in global tourism, ocean tourism, and the cruise line industry. Then, this study compares the current status of cruise line industry in South Korea with those in Japan. Lastly, existing cruise itineraries are reviewed for practical strategies and principles. Results: Based on reviewing the example of a cruise ship itinerary from the cruise ship company, possible cruise line programs at stopover places are suggested for the Port of Incheon and if the program is planted, it will boost Incheon's economy and tourism industry. Conclusion: Basic data about tourism in coastal regions and data analyses are lacking. Therefore, this study not only recommends further research in itinerary development or evaluation of cruise stopover programs, but also future research should explore the impact of the cruise industry from many different perspectives.

Abstract

Purpose - In this study, among the various stresses experienced by single-family senior citizens, we will focus on economic and financial stress and help to comprehend it generally, examine the differences in economic and financial stress and coping behaviors caused by the background variables in the aged group, and verify the variables that affect economic and financial stress, response behavior, and life satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - First of all, frequency analysis and technical statistics were conducted to identify the general characteristics of the elderly (characteristics of demographic sociology, social relationships) and the satisfaction level of life. Secondly, Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis was conducted to analyse influential factors on life satisfaction. Results - looking at the demographic characteristics of the elderly showed that in case the spouse exists, the level of satisfaction in life was shown to be higher. Next, looking at the characteristics of economic stress showed that the lower the economic stress was, the higher the satisfaction level of life was shown. Conclusions - Since stress has been identified as the most influential variable in life satisfaction through this study, we believe that economic and financial stress should be studied together as a parameter to find out which factors influence life satisfaction, or studies to reduce stresses for experts and senior party members altogether is also needed.

Abstract

Purpose - This study investigates factors that affected the utilization of trade support policies and further analyzed how the utilization of trade support policies affected export performance. Research design, data, and methodology - With a sample of 223 small and medium-sized export firms from South Korea, this study examines the determinants of the utilization level of trade support system such as export market orientation, learning orientation, network capability and environmental uncertainty by regression analysis. Results - Export market orientation have a positive effect on the utilization of the trade support system and there is positive relationship between learning orientation and the utilization of trade support system. And network capabilities have had a positive impact on the utilization of the trade support system but there is no relationship between environmental uncertainty and the utilization of trade support system. The utilization of the trade support system had a positive effect on export performance. Conclusions - The internal and external factors of the organization have affected small and medium-sized export firms use of trade support systems. The utilization of trade support system can enhance positive export performance by providing valuable information and resource to external knowledge and also to complementary resources from the external partners.
