A Study on the Management of Webpage in the Medical Libraries in Seoul

인터넷의 보급으로 웹페이지가 일상에 중요한 부분을 차지하면서 도서관에서도 웹페이지를 통한 정보봉사와 홍보 등이 일반화되고 있으며, 이러한 도서관 웹페이지의 운영 및 관리에 대한 관심이 높아가고 있다. 본 연구는 웹페이지와 그에 대한 운명 및 관리에 대한 이론적 배경과 서울시에 소재한 의학도서관의 사서들을 대상으로 실시된 설문조사를 바탕으로 도서관의 웹페이지 운영 및 관리에 관한 개선방안을 제시하고 있다.

Abstract

As the webpage has become part of our daily lives, libraries tend to use the webpage for the information service and for the pubic relations as well. In that, the importance on the management of webpage in libraries has been emphasized. This study explores the theoretical background on the webpage and its management; surveys and analyzes the webpages of 20 medical libraries in Seoul in terms of its management; and suggests some recommendations for the effective management of webpages in libraries.
