Abstract
The polymers, polyazine, polyazomethine ( I ) and polyazomethine ( II ) were prepared by the condensation of p-benzoquinone with hydrazine hydrate, p-phenylenediamine and diaminomaleonitrile in DMSO, respectively. The IR spectra of these polymers showed a characteristic peak of schiff base (-C
