Abstract

Purpose: Visual design has many prospective applications, including attaining business, social, educational, and political goals. The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of how visual design influences consumer-facing brand values and marketing messages. In order to be successful in marketing, one must promptly attract the attention of the clients one is attempting to sell to. Research design, data and methodology: In order for the research to provide useful information, it will be necessary to sort the findings in descending order of importance and construct an integrated whole out of the knowledge gleaned from various books, papers, and other sources. This method is essential for establishing the degree of objectivity present in each piece of research and combining the results of those studies. Results: Visual marketing promotes a product or service through moving or still images, illustrations, logos, and other forms of digital content. The audience may comprehend your message better if you include visuals. Even if people only scan your content, they may be more likely to notice it if it is presented appealingly. Conclusions: In conclusion, this study found that visual design substantially influences both the demand for products and the awareness of brand values within their target audiences

Purpose: The hospitality sector is vital to economic development, especially in metropolitan regions, where hotels are a pivotal factor in drawing in leisure and corporate visitors. Despite the potential advantages of urban hotels, there is a gap in empirical studies on the impacts of eco-friendly interior design on hotel appeal and guest behavior. Therefore, this study aims to fill out the research gap. Research design, data and methodology: This study employed a review of the literature systematically as its research design. The study's data collection technique involves exploring peer-reviewed journals through electronic databases like Scopus, and Web of Science. The present author double-checked the quality of instrument for all usable dataset. Results: Prior literature has stated a strong linkage between green interior design in urban hotels and customer behavior and hotel attractiveness. Using environmentally conscious methods, hotels can enhance the quality of their indoor atmosphere, preserve energy and water supplies, and establish a favorable public perception that appeals to environmentally aware consumers, thereby improving their overall experience and contentment. Conclusions: This study concludes that creating indoor spaces with environmental factors in mind could lead to a more enjoyable and beneficial atmosphere for hotel visitors and adopting a sustainability-oriented approach to hotel design and operations could attract potential customers.

Abstract

Purpose: As SARS-CoV-2, which was the main cause of the global pandemic, has repeatedly mutated in various forms, the threat of the virus has decreased considerably, and the spread has also subsided. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore the change in the role of masks and sustainable mask consumption according to the change in perception of wearing masks during the pandemic. Research design, data and methodology: This study used a descriptive review method as a literature review, and utilized the literature search method in PubMed, Riss, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases. Among them, a total of 46 papers were selected in the final stage. Results: As a result, it can be seen that during the pandemic, masks changed their roles according to social trends as their perceptions changed from general perceptions of protecting from external environments or diseases to fashion items with quarantine functions. Conclusions: Masks will be continuously consumed as one of the fashion items with the function of quarantine that protects the respiratory tract from the external environment that is indispensable in our daily lives.
