Abstract
Purpose – Through the analysis and research of different characteristics and related mechanisms of live commerce anchors, this paper aimed to help live commerce anchors to strengthen their characteristic advantages, beautify the live broadcast environment, improve resource allocation and enhance business performance, so as to help live commerce anchors to achieve better high-quality development. Research design, data, and methodology – This study was conducted by sample survey method on 361 live commercial anchors who have experience in using major online shopping malls for more than one year. Data analysis methods were frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Result – Hypothesis 1 through Hypothesis 5 were all supported. The results of this study suggest that professionalism and mutual entertainment of live commercial anchors have a significant impact on business performance, survival strategy, resource allocation and environment selection. The resource allocation and environment selection of live commercial anchors play a mediating role in the professionalism and mutual entertainment of live commercial anchors on business performance and survival strategy. Conclusion –The results implied that the professionalism and inter entertainment of live commercial anchors have a positive impact on business performance and survival strategy. In the new situation, live commercial anchors should further improve their professionalism and mutual entertainment, so as to achieve better development.
Abstract
Purpose – The current study will provide a cause-effect explanation that will reinforce the existing perception that effective communication fosters organizational communication. The findings will also empower organizations with information on why they must polish their communication strategies. Research design, Data, and methodology – This study has collected numerous textual datasets through ‘Qualitative Content Approach’ (QCA). The author of this research had a responsibility to develop comprehensible methods for categorizing and drawing inferences from raw data in addition to data collecting tactics that may effectively solicit representations. Result – The current study ultimately concludes that effective communication is the most cost-effective tool for motivating employees. Two-way organization communication allows employees to communicate the hardships they encounter in their job. The result of this is adjustments that are geared towards eliminating work-related challenges. Total four suggestions exist for practitioners in the main texts on ‘Results’ section. Conclusion – According to theoretical research, organizational commitment is anchored on the ability of an organization's leadership to communicate the organization's values to lower-level employees. Moreover, the findings reiterate the importance of creating leadership systems that embody an organization's core values. Communication systems that engender this ensure that management discloses the rationale for their business and corporate strategies to employees.
Abstract
Purpose – The present research aims to assess the meaningful association between the extension of sports leisure culture and the spread of wearable devices. The research will discuss the current utilization of wearable devices in sports leisure and the present and future application of wearable devices in sports perspectives. Research design, Data, and methodology – We have investigated and conducted the qualitative content analysis (QCA) to obtain the adequate textual dataset in the current literature and conducted an in-depth analysis of the incorporation of cloud computing in the leisure sports industry by focusing on the development of wearable technologies. Result – From the QCA, it is evident that there is a meaningful connection between the extension of sports leisure culture and the spread of wearable devices, figuring out four kinds of associations as follows: (1) Monitoring the Impact of Sporting Activities, (2) Benefits of Sensor Technology, (3) Reducing Sedentary Behaviors, and (4) Measuring Workload done in Sport Leisure. Conclusion – The present research concludes that wearable devices positively influence individuals to participate in sports and leisure activities. Various technologies are very effective in motivating individuals to adopt sports leisure culture mainly because there is a certain degree of satisfaction that individuals gain in seeing the level of physical activities.
Abstract
Purpose – This short paper reviews the debate dealing with the relationship between strategy and traditional strategy approach on the one hand, and business models and new business model approach on the other hand and tries to offer useful direction to be more helpful to theoretical discussions. Research design, data, and methodology – This paper makes a theoretical analysis to explain the confusion surrounding the debate, reviewing mainly literature survey papers and finds theoretical conjecture and its limitations in order to present useful direction to the future theoretical work. Result – In order to comprise its diversity, business model studies should consider the characteristics of each firm, sector, and market. Adding further elements which are related to each sector or market, theoretical studies can capture the diverse phenomena related to business model and business model innovation. Conclusion – The traditional strategy perspective can be utilized to the Business model phenomenon in the case of incumbent firms and non-digital sector and existing markets. Meanwhile the new business model perspective can be utilized to business model phenomena in case of start-ups and digital sector and emerging markets. Reconciling two perspectives, the studies dealing with the business model should focus on the characteristics of firms, markets, and knowledge from the perspective of business model innovation.
Abstract
Purpose – In today's era of carbon neutrality, railways need to find ways to improve usability and efficiency. Accordingly, this study examines the effect of introducing express highspeed railways into the Korean public transportation system and suggests some practical guidelines. One concern in the Korea railway sector is that low scheduled speeds contrast with the highspeed railway system design. Research design, data, and methodology – Current literature and foreign cases are analyzed. Subsequently, using data from the Korean Railroad Research Institute, a benefit analysis is conducted based on expanded track capacity and the saving of time owing to the introduction of the express highspeed railway. Result – The express highspeed railway system is expected to increase the number of train lines from 262 to 348 and the scheduled speed from 168.3km/h to 192.2km/h. Considering reduced time value, the economic effect is about 80 million won per year. Conclusion – The findings suggest that the express highspeed railway is a promising option to improve efficiency and increase customer utility. This study contributes to the literature by initiating a discussion on the express system in Korea; practically, it offers railway operators guidelines for improving highspeed railway system efficiency that can be transformed into a variety of marketing options.
Abstract
Purpose – Corporate reading management requires employees capable of doing their job since employee performance is crucial to the firm's profitability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the positive effects of corporate reading management on employee management. It focuses on factors increasing employee productivity and the impacts corporate management brings about on the overall productivity of any kind of company. Research design, Data, and methodology – The current authors have investigated and conducted the qualitative content analysis (QCA) to obtain the adequate textual dataset in the prior and current literature. One of the primary benefits of doing research using content analysis is that it enables the researcher to employ a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Result – Based on the review of the prior literature, the present authors found that there are four corporate reading management solutions to improve employee performance, following those instructions – A. Increased Motivation and Productivity, B. Employee Development, C. Businesses' Objective Alignment, and D. Improved Work Environment. Conclusion – This study addressed and figured out different factors that reading corporate can apply to influence employee performance, thus increasing the company's productivity. Future research should evaluate the adverse effects businesses might face from unfavorable working environments. The research also needed to address how ethics influences employee performance.
Abstract
Purpose – With the increasing medical demands of the public, the development of future Internet medical care has come to represent a major problem. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to discuss future development strategies for Interne medical care while taking China’s Internet hospitals as an example case. Research design, data, and methodology – This study conducted a case study of China’s Internet hospitals to summarize the fundamental problems faced by Internet hospitals and propose future development strategies to overcome these problems for Internet medical care. Result – Although Internet hospitals have been regarded as the ultimate product of Internet medical care, from the perspective of the government, medical institutions, platforms builders and maintainers, and patients, they still face some basic issues. Conclusion – This study concludes that the government and medical institutions play an important role in the future development of Internet medical care and suggests that the government should make overall plans for the policies and standards and should play the main role in enhancing the public trust in Internet medical care, while medical institutions should take steps such as seizing policy opportunities, driving online and offline collaborations, and constructing suitable evaluation systems to promote the development of Internet medical care.
Abstract
Purpose - This study aims to study the activation pattern of declining industries by applying the Gompertz growth model using available resources based on the theory of industrial life cycle, classifying declining industries among Korean manufacturing industries, and identifying resource input characteristics. Research design and methodology - This study was conducted by combining the Gompertz growth model that predicts the limit of output based on available resources under the industrial life cycle theory. Using Gompertz model, this study analyzed the life cycle of 39 Korean manufacturing industries from the perspective of domestic production, number of employees, and fixed assets Results - According to a life cycle analysis of 39 manufacturing industries in Korea, the computer, textile, and shoe industries were classified as declining industries. Among them, research on resource input characteristics on the shoe industry showed that domestic production and the number of employees decreased, while the proportion of domestic R&D personnel and the number of research departments gradually increased. Conclusion - Among the declining industries in Korea, the shoe industry is considered to revitalize the industry, that is, to extend the life of the declining industry by offshoring its production site and improving constitution with a “R&D center for global” support.
