Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the impact of digital transformation on green innovation in China's agricultural listed companies, focusing on the moderating role of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Research Design, Data and Methodology: This study uses quantitative research methods, selecting annual report data of China's agricultural listed companies from 2014 to 2023 and Huazheng ESG data, using a regression model of panel data analysis to explore the impact of digital transformation on green innovation and explore ESG moderating effect. Results: Digital transformation has a significant negative impact on green innovation (coefficient = -0.048, p < 0.05), particularly due to resource reallocation during technology upgrades. ESG performance moderates this relationship (interaction term coefficient = -0.113, p < 0.05), intensifying the negative effects rather than mitigating them. Conclusions: Digital transformation of agricultural enterprises is crucial to green technology innovation. However, the improvement of ESG performance has not only failed to alleviate this negative impact, but has made the problem worse. Specifically, ESG performance plays a key mediating role in the connection between digital transformation and green innovation, and this mediating role actually helps to amplify the negative consequences of digital transformation rather than reduce them.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine research trends in college students' career preparation behavior in Korea and to suggest future research directions. Research design, data and methodology: We analyzed 217 research papers in the Korean social science field published after 2000. Research trends were analyzed in terms of research purpose, research focus, and research method. Based on the analysis results, future research directions were suggested, and implications and limitations of this study were discussed. Results: First, there was little research on college students' career preparation behavior in the social science field in Korea until the 2000s, but research has increased since the 2010s, and research is being conducted steadily until 2020. Second, we found that many studies focus on verifying the causal relationship between antecedents and career preparation behaviors. Third, while there are many studies that designed college student career preparation behavior as an outcome variable, there is a lack of research that demonstrates the results of college student career preparation behavior. Fourth, most studies were conducted as quantitative studies, and qualitative studies or meta-analyses were rare. Fifth, some longitudinal studies were conducted to confirm the effectiveness of educational programs to promote career preparation behavior among college students, but most of the studies were cross-sectional studies. Conclusions: This study expands the career preparation behavior research by suggesting future research directions based on the analysis results.

Abstract

Purpose: The social responsibilities of public institutions manifest in various dimensions. The components of the social aspect of ESG activities within public institutions are defined in a highly diverse manner, and the activities themselves vary significantly across organizations. This study aims to propose directions for achieving sustainable development within public institutions and to identify specific actionable measures required to fulfill their social responsibilities. Research design, data and methodology: This study was conducted through a literature review and case studies. The existing literature on ESG in public institutions was reviewed, and cases from five public institutions were collected and analyzed through lectures and interviews with stakeholders. Results: This study reveals that while public institutions share common objectives and characteristics of social responsibility, they differ in their specific approaches and activities. The analysis confirms that while all organizations actively fulfill their social responsibilities, they adopt unique methods that align with their specialized fields and characteristics. Conclusions: Public institutions must prioritize activities in the social dimension to foster relationships with local communities and fulfill their social responsibilities, which is essential for achieving sustainable operations and generating social value. This study highlights that investments and efforts in the social dimension of public institutions are crucial for building social trust.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between transformational leadership (TL), knowledge sharing, and innovative behavior, and to empirically analyze the moderating effect of job crafting on each of these relationships. Research design, data and methodology: For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 320 franchise academy instructors from February 5 to March 20, 2024, using both online and offline methods. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 29.0. Results: The conclusions derived from this study are as follows. First, higher levels of transformational leadership (TL) are associated with increased knowledge sharing. Second, higher levels of transformational leadership (TL) lead to enhanced innovative behavior. Third, regarding the moderating effect of job crafting on the relationship between transformational leadership, knowledge sharing, and innovative behavior, it was found that employees with lower levels of job crafting experience a stronger interaction effect between transformational leadership and job crafting than those with higher levels. Conclusions: This study contributes academically by expanding the scope of organizational behavior research and offers practical insights into effective human resource management strategies in the education service sector. Additionally, it highlights the importance of fostering collaboration and autonomous job improvement within organizations as key drivers of performance, providing practical implications for developing relevant strategies and programs.
