Abstract

Purpose: For many Vietnamese students, the national high school graduation examination is one of the most important exams in their lives, transitioning from high school to tertiary education. Considering that the national examination is exceptionally important for admission of higher education, failure of management system and educational inequalities lead to serious academic concerns. By using the concept of justice and motivation, the current study aimed to explore the effects of justice dimensions and motivation on student satisfaction in the context of education, specifically focusing on the national examination for higher education. Research design, data and methodology: In this regard, this study proposed a conceptual model and conducted an online survey to test relevant hypotheses. Results: The empirical findings of the study found that procedural, distributive justice, and intrinsic motivation affected the level of student satisfaction. Conclusions: The results of this study would be useful for policymakers to make more informed choices and also suggest further programs and projects of the Vietnamese government, aiming to develop the system of university admissions in the future. This study suggests that adoption of better management system and policies will significantly affect academic satisfaction and higher education environment.

Abstract

Purpose –In the credit transaction, the issuing bank must examine the documents to pay the credit amount. In order to smoothly execute the credit transaction, document review is a key element, so the 5th revised credit unification rule specifically defines the document review procedure. Research design, data, and methodology – The document review procedure specified in the UCP Rules can be largely divided into the document review period and the rejection procedure for inconsistent documents. First of all, confusion was caused by the ambiguous regulation that the review period of documents was considerable in the past, but now, after receiving the documents, a specific period of 7th bank business day is set. Result – With regard to the document review period, in the actual credit transaction, the issuing bank often negotiates with the issuing client about the waiver of the document inconsistency. Next, in the process of notifying the rejection of inconsistent documents, the issuing bank shall send the rejection notice in accordance with the requirements of promptly sending the rejection notice, describing all inconsistencies and disposing of the documents. Conclusion – This study suggests that the requirement to list all inconsistencies makes it impossible for the issuing bank to further notify the refusal, thereby limiting the right to defend against inconsistencies not listed in the first refusal notice and consequently having the effect of matching them. In addition, the issuing bank's rejection notice is closely related to the beneficiary's exercise of the right to replenish documents, because the issuing bank's document refusal notice determines the possibility of the beneficiary's exercise in the document.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to analyze the root causes of changes in the rankings of Paying Taxes in Japan and Korea from 2019 to 2020, and put forward relevant policy recommendations for China from the perspective of enterprise tax burden and tax compliance costs. Research design, data, and methodology – This paper analyzes the data information of four indicators of Japan and Korea in Paying Taxes from 2009 to 2019, excel tool was used to summarize the essential reasons for the changes. Result – The results showed that, through the reform of tax system, especially the application of electronic tax system for tax declaration, and this is the fundamental reason why Korea has surpassed Japan in the ranking of Paying Taxes in recent five years. Conclusion – Drawing lessons from the reforms in South Korea and Japan, it is concluded that China should improve its tax ranking through two ways.First, deepen the reform of the main tax and fee system and reduce the burden of enterprise taxes and fees.Second, further simplify the tax procedures. Return rights and responsibilities to the enterprise.

Abstract

Purpose – The research was conducted to understand how the values of customers using airline SNS effects customer satisfaction and trust. By finding out which characteristics of customer values lead to customer satisfaction and gaining trust, the research concludes with suggestions for various airlines to use such characteristics to maintain customers through SNS. Research design, data, and methodology – The research period of this study was conducted on people who have used SNS operated by domestic airlines for two months from May to July, 2020. 342 copies were finally samples for the study. Result – The results of the relationship between customers’ values and customer satisfaction amongst those who use airlines’ SNS show that practical, pleasure, and social components all have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. The relationship between customers’ values and customer trust amongst those who use airlines’ SNS show that practical and pleasure components have a positive effect on trust while the social component didn’t yield a positive effect on trust. Conclusion – Identifying and understanding SNS users’ value structure and providing specific guidelines for customer value components can help demonstrate the causal relationship between customer value components, customer satisfaction, and trust. Also, evidence of applicable customer value theory could be provided.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this research is to test the impact of social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance (job performance and practiced creativity), and moderating role of usage frequency of SNS. Research design, data, and methodology – A total of 299 questionnaires, completed by Chinese employees, were analyzed using SPSS 22 and AMOS 22. For the assessment of goodness of fit of the models, TLI, CFI, RMSEA indices were used. Result –The empirical results are as follows. First, social connectedness had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity. Second, team psychological safety had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and social connectedness, job performance, practiced creativity. Finally, the moderating effect of frequency of employee SNS usage were not significant. Conclusion –This study analyzes the mediating role of employee social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity, which is helpful for the expansion of related theories and provides practical implications for effective human resource management.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to examine the intermediary role of job satisfaction between job autonomy and job performance and whether the process was adjusted based on the work context. Research design, data, and methodology – This study was conducted by sample survey method on 334 supervising engineers. Data analysis methods were frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Result – The results of this study suggest that: (1) after controlling for age, position, and working years, job autonomy had a significant positive impact on job performance, (2) job autonomy can not only directly affect job performance but also indirectly affect performance through job satisfaction, (3) job satisfaction has an intermediary effect on job autonomy and job performance, and (4) the relationship between job autonomy and job satisfaction is moderated by the work context, and the result showed a negative moderating effect. Conclusion – This study suggests that job autonomy significantly improves job performance, and the higher job autonomy a supervising engineer has, the more satisfied they are with their work, thus enriching the precursor research on dynamic changes in job performance. When the working environment is poor, supervisors are more sensitive to the perception of job autonomy and have a stronger impact on job satisfaction and performance.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to comprehensively understand the recent status of domestic ecommerce market and provide useful information for the revitalization of domestic on-line economy. This study looks over the association between type of ecommerce and demographic variables for each purchse ordering and sales order business. The demographics under consideration is administrative district, occupation and business organization type and type of ecommerce is B2B, B2C and B2G to deal with. Research design, data, and methodology –From January 2017 to December 2017, about 14000 samples are extracted from all businesses with experience in purchasing or selling products or services through ecommerce. The association between the two categorical variables considered by using two major statistical techniques such as chi-square test and correspondence analysis can be quantitatively and visually detected. Results – This study shows the association between the type of ecommerce with the administrative district and the occupation is completely different, but B2B and B2C are identical for organization type, with respect to both purchase and sales orders. Abstract

Purpose – Corporate patent management refers to an organization belonging to the government or an intergovernmental organization that plays a bigger role in controlling patents. The purpose of the present study is to investigate and suggest brief solutions regarding how companies should manage their patents, maximizing their commercial values. Research design, Data, and methodology – Since the current researcher needed to optimize authenticity, the datasets were used primarily for collecting data from various sources examined by peers. This research used a claim from PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis) to identify prior studies within the limits of the sample. Result – The results revealed that corporate patent management is faced with different problems in the course of its operations. It faces many different critics from the outside world; therefore, a need to solve those problems. This study strongly suggests there are seven solutions to manage companies’ patents. Conclusion – The conclusion of this study points out that The prolonged period has given some business organizations a competitive advantage over others especially that belong to industries that have a lower propensity to adopt patent rights. As a result, some business organizations have grown relatively faster than others within the long period they remain as patent rights members.

Abstract

Purpose – An empirical analysis of various opinions of experts to build Busan's global city image. Based on this, we provide strategy establishment metrics using opportunities, strengths, and threats to build Busan's global city image. Research design, data, and methodology – SWOT-AHP analysis are used in terms of methodology, and this study is based on experts reviews and answers. In addition, AHP analysis is performed based on SWOT analysis to derive the result values for important priority factors. Result – As a result of the prioritization of SWOT-AHP results, a matrix of strategic development directions for Busan city brand building can be presented. As a result of the composite weighting, the factors related to opportunity were ranked as important. In addition, matrices on SO strategy, ST strategy, WO strategy, and WT strategy were derived. Conclusion – This study is an interdisciplinary study from the economic aspect, international management and international marketing aspect, administrative aspect, and architectural engineering aspect. Through this, the image of a global city of Busan that can overcome Corona 19 and cope with the 4th industry in the future will be built, and Busan will be able to build a global international city image by commercially attracting the 2030 World Expo.
