The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of perceived stress on the relationship between perfectionism and bulimic behavior in 526 female university students. Research instruments were follows: the Bulimia Test Revised; BULIT-R, the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale; MPS, and the Perceived Stress Scale; PPS. Through correlation analysis, the relationship between research variables were examined. And using the SPSS PROCESS Macro of Hayes (2013), the mediating effects of perceived stress in perfectionism and bulimic behavior were verified. As a result of correlation analysis, there was a significant correlation between multidimensional perfectionism, perceived stress, and bulimic behavior. The higher the perfectionism behavior, the more perceived stress was, and the more perceived stress, the more bulimic behavior was. Macro analysis showed that perceived stress partially mediated the relationship between multidimensional perfectionism and bulimic behavior. Self-oriented perfectionism, other-oriented perfectionism, and socially prescribed perfectionism had a directly affect bulimic behavior, and as the negative perceptions which is a sub-factor of perceived stress, it had an indirect effect on bulimic behavior. The mediating effect of positive perception, which is a sub-factor of perceived stress, was not significant. Finally, the significance of this study and the follow-up study and treatment of bulimic behavior of female university students were suggested.
This paper attempted to examine the psychological inner dynamics that the marriage-based female migrants undergo in adapting to Korea. When social support affects happiness and adjusting to life in Korea of the marriage-based female migrants, we investigated whether the paper will have direct effects or indirect effects of gratitude, return and indebtedness. This paper, involving 225 marriage-based female migrants from 5 East Asian countries, was conducted from Nov. 15, 2017, to Jan. 30, 2018 using purposive sampling methods. Structural equation modeling(SEM) using AMOS 22.0 showed the followings. First, it had a significantly direct effect on the gratitude of marriage-based female migrants when support from spouses and friends in their home countries. Second, the support of the in-laws only had a significant effect on the happiness of marriage-based female migrants. Third, support from Korean friends also had a significant effect on marriage-based female migrants’ adaptation to Korean life. Fourth, only when the support of a spouse and friends in their home affected the happiness of marriage-based female migrants, the gratitude and indebtedness showed a significant indirect effect. Fifth, when the support of a spouse and friends in their home affected the happiness and adaptation of Korean life of marriage-based female migrants, it showed a significant mediating effect on the gratitude and return. Finally, the cross-cultural comparison of the 5 East Asian nations showed cultural differences. The paper suggested that there is a difference in perception among marriage-based female migrants depending on the each social support sources in the process of adapting to Korean life.

According to eating-related problems, behaviors are increased in young adult women, this study verified the mediation effect between excessive use of image-based SNS and eating disordered habits resulting in objectified body consciousness and appearance-based rejection sensitivity. we surveyed 385 women aged 18 to 29 years. The structure equation model was used to analyze the results, not only is the excessive use of image-based SNS expected to directly effects eating disordered habits, but also through the mediation of objectified body consciousness affects. But, the mediation effect of appearance-based rejection sensitivity was not proved to be significant. In addition, the consequences of sequential dual mediation appears as objectified body consciousness and appearance-based rejection sensitivity. This study clarifies the structural processes that lead to eating disordered habits and it has proven that the influence use of SNS which is new media method. This research implies that awareness of appearance should be improved. The entire society ought to be free from sociocultural pressure about appearance, and understand various values. Therefore, the young adult women will be free from the eyes of others and can become self-confident.
The study sought to explore in depth the care stress experienced by mothers with children with adult autism categorical disabilities through qualitative research. ln view of such significance, eight mothers who were taking care of their children with autism and categorical disorder living in three small and medium cities in Gyeongsangbuk-do were analyzed using a snowball sampling method. ln-depth individual interviews were conducted with two categories, 7 sub-categories, and 63 concepts. The two categories are: The first category included difficulties due to differing and changing according to developmental stages and growth proccesses from infancy/ early childhood through school age to adulthood, The second category indicated the difficulties continuing even in adulthood, such as difficulties in everyday activities, difficulty coping with problem behavior, emotional difficulties, and economic difficulties. Such diverse characteristics of life cycle and context, and the mother who takes care of constant difficulties of life from childhood to adulthood, were under stress. Based on the study results, the implications and limitations of the findings was discussed
