Abstract

Many theorists have been asserting the advantageous of jikmeip system and disadvantageous of tukjeongmeip system in terms of competitiveness enhancement. But, department store is a business status where service is emphasized instead of price, it is advantageous to secure service competitiveness rather than price competitiveness. Therefore, by utilizing the professional merchandisers of the supplier even without having its own, the department store will keep the advantageous stand unless it is not a large buying system. Due to many items under control, distribution companies usually have limited source of professional merchandiser for each product. Thus, no matter how the importance of MD has been forced, when considering the practical situation, the tukjeongmeip will always have the competitiveness over the jikmeip.

Abstract

This study assessed the development of Japanese food distribution system in response to changes in the needs of consumer population the current food concepts can be divided into "processed" and "perishable" foods we expended the current concept introducing "processed perishable foods" and "perishable processed foods", and how this modified term contributed to more effective food distribution system in Japan. We further assessed the effects of changes in the needs and perception in Japanese consumer population on food distribution system, which included PB goods development as well as diversification of chain system. Our study in the development of Japanese consumer population and food distribution system can be compared to that of Korea, providing a direction for systematic and effective food distribution system.

Abstract

Since discount stores should be operated mostly by the non-human resources regarding the natural characteristics of the business, it is possibly said that their physical environments have been extremely significant. This study attempts to develop the measurement items and construct factors which are especially relevant to the physical environments of the discount stores and examine how the customer satisfaction and intention influence on these construct factors. These provide a useful framework for understanding the problems of measuring and evaluating the physical environments of discount stores. The final factor analysis for each construct factors resulted as four factors, and two categories(amenity and convenience) represented the characteristics of same construct such as the visibility. Then convenience is eliminated, and an attempt was made to add the new variable what is called the visibility. As a result, final construct factors that would be used in this study are made of four items; amenity, accessibility, POP and visibility. This study utilizes the LISREL 8.12 to evaluate the validity of factor structures and measurement model involving the physical environment in discount store. Finally, for the success of the projects, I think that it is necessary to provide comprehensive efforts continuously.

Abstract

By the research seen by examining plan which can improve at least systematization of a distribution sector, reform opening got into stride to Chinese distribution channel structure by improvement of a premodern Chinese circulation system and non-efficiency-structure. The competition means of the China distribution industry, the development direction, and the Chinese distribution channel strategy are received focusing on the 1990s, and it is going to show a way proposal.

Abstract

For the customer satisfaction, the inside customer satisfaction must be made by offering the service of a good quality to the inside customer. If the inside customer is not satisfied with own business, the achievement of customer's loyalty & customer satisfaction which have direct effects on the performance of a corporation, comes to be difficult. This study tries to analyze what effect the inside customer satisfaction has on the yield performance of a corporation on the subject of the salespersons of the direct-control store among the retail store business.

Abstract

We're living in a world of one global village. The globalization of business is acceleration as more companies cross national borders to find customers, materials and money. Many foreign companies and organizations are doing their business aggressively in Korea and many Korean companies and rushing into foreign market. When people communicate for business with someone from another culture, there could be difficult communication barriers to overcome resulting from differences in their values, beliefs, norms for behavior, expectations, attitudes and so on. To do successfully business, we need to understand culture background and communication style that is different from nation, race, language. Communication barriers stemming from cultural differences may vary. Largely, they can be divided into value system, non-verbal communication, and perception process. Value system can be divided into individualism versus group orientation, avoidance of uncertainty degree, power distance, and high- context culture versus low-context culture. Also non-verbal communication method and perception process may play decisive roles in communication effectiveness. Especially nonverbal communication barriers which sometimes play more important roles than the verbal parts are composed of eye contact, gesture, kinesics, proxemics, chronemics, paralanguage and language of color Cross-cultural communication affect business situation. I expect that if we understand cultural background, and then we overcome cross-cultural communication barriers. To overcome and to adapt inter-cultural business, we need to develope curriculum on the cross-cultural education which I will study in the next paper.
