Purpose: This study examines the economic and technical reasons for the uneven distribution of broadband internet services in Indonesia before and during the recession due to the C19 pandemic, and examines its effect on the country's economy. Research design, data and methodology: The research was designed by conducting an economic feasibility, which was verified through area observations and interviews with providers and their association, as well as the Regulator. Results: The results show that during the C19 pandemic, there has been an increase in the distribution of broadband internet services in Indonesia since there has been an increase in demand for cellular services and fixed services together. However, the increase in broadband internet service coverage is still not evenly distributed in the country and unable to boost the decline in Gross Domestic Product during the C19 pandemic. Conclusions: The increase in fixed broadband coverage by seventy percent is an indication for the state to make policies to encourage bundling techniques between operators with the aim of internet services being more evenly distributed throughout the country. Where, the influence of a more even distribution of broadband internet services in all countries is believed to be able to support the country's economy.
Purpose: This research aims to find the link between public service Distribution and individual job performance in the provincial municipality. Research design, data, and methodology: This is a quantitative approach study with a non-experimental and correlational design. The sample consisted of 140 employees appointed and hired by the provincial municipality of Huaraz. For data collection, Two questionnaires with an ordinal Likert-type scale and the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient were used to assess the link between the research variables., For Analysis: two questionnaires with an ordinal Likert-type scale and the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient were used to determine the connection between the research variables. Results: It was determined that both variables have a high degree of correlation (0.725), indicating a direct and significant relationship between the Distribution of public service and skill performance in the provincial municipality (0.614). Conclusion: Finally, this allows us to conclude that the institutional context is essential; that is, there is a significant correlation between the PSM and contextual performance in the provincial municipality of Huaraz, which has a Rho Spearman value of 0.723.
Purpose: This study was conducted to gauge the economic evaluation and sample distribution of conserving the Belum Royal State Park (BRSP) in Perak, Malaysia and to identify factors influencing its use by the community. This study aims to examine community perception on the conservation of the Belum Royal State Park (BRSP) and maximum community's willingness to pay for park entry permits fees. Research design, data and methodology: A questionnaire survey was conducted involving a total of 280 respondents. The study adopted the Dichotomous Choice Contingent Valuation Approach (DC-CVM) and the Logistic Model, to estimate the maximum community's willingness to pay for park entry permits fees. Results: The results established that the factors of respondent's occupation, income, ecotourism influence on the BRSP and maximum entry price, significantly influenced visitors' decision on community's willingness to pay. The average community's willingness to pay was RM9.68 per person. Conclusions: In conclusion, surveillance and patrols in protected areas should be expanded. The extra expense for ensuring safety can be offset through income from ecotourism that should also benefit the local community on economic evaluation and equal distribution on the BRSP.
Purpose: This article focuses on exploring the associations between job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Specifically, this study estimates the impacts of Vietnamese employees' job satisfaction on their organizational commitment and turnover intention in FDI enterprises. Research design, data and methodology: The measures are adapted from previous studies to develop a questionnaire with a seven-point Likert scale. The dataset is directly collected from 227 respondents who are employees at FDI enterprises situated in the North of Vietnam. The dataset is analyzed by quantitative approaches using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. Results: The results show that while turnover intention is positively correlated with monthly income, it is negatively correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Also, organizational commitment is positively associated with job satisfaction among employees at FDI enterprises in Vietnam. Conclusions: The findings of this study will serve as useful references for administrators of FDI enterprises and policymakers to promote employees' job satisfaction and retain skilled employees.
Purpose: This report aimed to review the literature on the research topic "Imports and exports between Colombia and Asian countries in the framework of logistics processes in international trade" of the last ten years. Research design, data and methodology: Documents indexed in the Web of Science metasearch engine were used as a source of information. The 500 most relevant downloaded in bibTex format were worked on and their processing was carried out using the statistical software Excel and R, through the Bibliometrix package. Results: The results indicate that the country that makes the most contributions to the research area is the United States (274), the author that publishes the most is Bahmani-Oskooee M., with (11) research, 424 of the documents found are journal articles, and the institution that contributes the most in this area is the University of Wisconsin. Conclusions: It is concluded that scientific production within the framework of international trade between Asia and Colombia has had a notable increase, which can be explained by the opening of both continents as strategic allies and the new vision of logistics processes taking advantage of the strategic location of countries within the Pacific Ocean.
Purpose: The aim of this research is to study 1) the effects of internal factors (technological capability and entrepreneurial orientation) that affect Thailand's hotel business network capability. 2) the effects of external factors (government policy and trust relationship) that affect Thailand's hotel business network capability. 3) the impact of network capability on the firm performance. 4) the moderating effect of absorptive capacity between network capability and firm performance. Research design, data and methodology: The test model collected data from a mail survey of 164 hotel businesses in Thailand. The correlation and multiple regression were adopted to analyze and test the proposed hypotheses. Results: Interestingly, technological capability, entrepreneurship orientation, and trust relationship have a direct impact on network capability. However, network capability still does not have a significant relationship with firm performance in all dimensions. Surprisingly, the absorptive capacity does not have a moderating effect on the relationship of network capability on firm performance of hotel businesses in Thailand. Conclusions: This research found that the hotel business should focus on analyzing the external and internal environment as it affects network building, which will guide the creation of strategies for further increasing hotel distribution channels and competitive advantage.
Purpose: Predicting the financial distress distribution of an enterprise is important to warn enterprises about their future. Predicting the possibility of financial distress helps companies have action plans to avoid the possibility of bankruptcy. In this study, the author conducted a forecast of the financial distress distribution of enterprises. Research design, data and methodology: The forecasting method is based on Logit and Discriminant analysis models. The data was collected from companies listed on Vietnam Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2020. In which there are both companies suffer from financial distress and non-financial distress. Results: The forecast analysis results show that the Logistic model has better predictability than the Discriminant analysis model. At the same time, the results also indicate three main factors affecting the financial distress of enterprises at all three research stages: (1) Liquidity, (2) Interest payment, and (3) firm size. In addition, at each stage, the impact of factors on financial distress differs. Conclusions: From the results of this study, the author also made several recommendations to help companies better control company operations to avoid falling into financial distress. Adjustments to current assets, debt, and company expansion considerations are the most important factors for companies.
Purpose: This study aims to determine the online shop service performance of fresh food products distribution, consumer motivation, and their relationship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted online using Google Forms on 100 consumers of TaniHub application users. Data in the form of scale were analyzed descriptively to explain the service performance and consumer motivation. The service performance consists of technical services and marketing services. Technical service indicators consist of payment, delivery, and products. Meanwhile, the marketing service indicator consists of promotions and prices. The consumer motivation is characterized by reference, actualization, and lifestyle. The relationship between the two was analyzed using Spearman's rank correlation. Results: The most consumers are millennial generation who were active in social media. They are employees with Bachelor's and Master's qualifications and included in the middle economic groups. TaniHub online shop had good technical and fair marketing performance. The motivation of online shop consumers of fresh food products through the TaniHub application was high. Conclusions: The findings discovered a significant relationship between online shop service performance and consumer motivation. It indicates the need for improvement in marketing services, especially promotions, to improve the performance of this e-agribusiness company.
Purpose: As the shared kitchen sector evolves into a new trend in the restaurant industry, not only operational support but also the physical environment for services is ranked as an important success factors. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to study the effect of shared kitchen service quality on experiential value, relational commitment, and long-term orientation. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, a questionnaire was used to verify the structural relationship between shared kitchen service quality, experiential value, relational commitment, and long-term orientation for tenant companies in shared kitchen companies. The data were analyzed by using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Result: Facilities and support for the service quality of the shared kitchen had a positive (+) effect on the experiential value, and the environment did not. In addition, experiential value showed a significant positive (+) effect on relationship commitment and long-term orientation, and relationship commitment showed a significant positive (+) effect on long-term orientation. Conclusions: It was confirmed that the support quality among service quality affects the relationship formation. Thus, attention should be paid to activities to support stable business activities from the perspective of B2B services.
Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between disruptive factors and customer satisfaction at chain stores. Survey-based questionnaires were designed in the distribution technique to measure the findings in this study. Research design, data, and methodology: In terms of the sampling technique, the researchers adopted the simple random sampling technique with a total of 200 sample sizes. For the statistical method, the researchers applied multiple linear regression analysis to determine the potential factors that affect customer satisfaction at chain stores. The analysis of this study measured how product quality, pricing policies of chain stores, design and layout, responsiveness, and location of chain stores impart their roles in customer satisfaction. Results: This study found a significant relationship between the product quality and location of chain stores on customer satisfaction. In addition, the responsiveness, pricing policy, and physical design of chain stores impart an insignificant role in customer satisfaction. However, it is proven that the location of chain stores and product quality positively impact customer satisfaction. Conclusions: The study is geographically limited to the region of Karachi, Pakistan. Therefore, the findings may differ in the context of study implications in the other areas.
Purpose: The digital healthcare business is rapidly growing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the medical service platform business based on smartphone apps is globally expanding. This study targeted medical information online to offline (O2O) platform users in the medical service field. It verified the effect relationship revealed in the continuous use intention of the platform with the mediation of platform quality components, namely perceived benefits, flow experience, and use satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: Based on previous studies, three medical information O2O platform quality components, namely system quality, information quality, and service quality, were defined. And the questionnaire survey was carried out targeting 359 leading medical information O2O platform users in Korea. Results: As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that system quality and service quality had a positive (+) effect on satisfaction and continuous use intention with the mediation of perceived benefits and flow experience. Meanwhile, information quality had a negative effect (-) on perceived benefits and flow experience and did not affect use satisfaction and continuous use intention. Conclusions: Consequently, it was ascertained that the system quality and service quality affecting user behavior and experience were more significant factors than information quality to medical information O2O platform users from the medical service aspect.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate sales managers' strategic focus on customer acquisition, specifically its effect on salespeople's performance. In addition, this study aimed to determine how salespeople's interpersonal skills, salesmanship skills, and technical knowledge affect the relationship between customer-acquisition management and salespeople's performance. Research design, data, and methodology: This study conducted a survey of 310 salespeople working at pharmaceutical companies. A structural equation modeling approach was applied to test the main effects and interaction effects using AMOS. Results: The results indicated that both managers' customer-acquisition orientation and salespeople's salesmanship skills and technical knowledge positively affected the latter's performance. Further, it was found that the higher the technical knowledge of the salesperson, the greater the effect of the customer-acquisition orientation on sales performance. Conclusions: Sales managers should enable salespeople to quickly acquire technical knowledge with respect to the market, products, competitors, and company policy so that they can bring greater synergy to the customer-acquisition orientation.
