공공도서관의 노인용 인터페이스 디자인에 관한 연구
A Study on the Interface Design of the Public Library for the Elderly
초록
노인의 인구가 늘어남으로써, 공공도서관도 이들의 서비스에 관심을 가져야 한다. 특히, 컴퓨터와 인터넷 사용이 미숙한 노인에게 공공도서관은 교육기관으로 또는 봉사기관으로 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다. 이 연구는 공공도서관의 노인용 인터페이스를 개발하는데 필요한 여러 가지 디자인 요소와 상세한 내용을 조사하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 노인용 인터페이스를 개발하려는 공공도서관에 도움을 줄 것이다.

Abstract
The number of elderly people is increasing rapidly in Korea. A large part of their information seeking behaviors are changed form a few conventional types of media such as letters to computers and Internet. Their use of computers and Internet, however, was difficult due to various problems including the interface especially. This work has examined and analysed the basic elements and components of interface design for the elderly people into the previous papers. The result of the study would be applied to the public libraries for the elderly and the interface design within the institution.
