초록
이 연구는 신문보도에 나타난 도서관에 관련된 기사를 분석하여, 신문은 도서관의 문제가 무엇이라고 이해하고 있는지를 파악하는 것이다. 도서관 행사나 새로운 도서관이 설립될 때 단순히 사건 중심으로 보도하는 기사보다는 도서관의 본질에 대한 심층보도를 하는 특집기사를 분석의 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 공공도서관, 대학도서관, 학교도서관 및 독서운동 등으로 구분하여 수행하였다. 이 결과는 도서관 이용자인 시민들이 도서관에 대하여 가지고 있는 일반적인 인식이므로 봉사내용을 마련할 때나 도서관 홍보에서도 기초자료로 사용할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyse of library issues on press release. Special editions issued in the feature articles were analysed. The results of this research can be used for improvement of library services and publicity of library activities.
