The purpose of this paper is to study the information technology-related courses offered by the Departments of Library and Information Science. Rapid development of computer and telecommunication technologies has brought many changes in the work environments of libraries as well as librarians' functions. Accordingly the Departments of Library and Information Science have been teaching information technology to meet the changing needs of the information environment. This research aims at finding out how the information technology-related courses have been changed, what are the contents of those courses, and what libraries need as far as information technology is concerned.
