본 연구는 어머니의 학력ㆍ여고생의 학업성취도ㆍ가정생활수준ㆍ여고생의 생활만족도ㆍ여고생의 어머니 취업여부 만족도가 어머니-여고생의 촉진적 의사소통에 미치는 영향을 구명하였다. 서울지역 일반계 여고생을 충화군집표집에 의해 선발하여 최종 501명을 연구대상으로 삼았다. 촉진적 의사소통 질문지는 Carkhuff(1967)의 척도를 기초로 마정건(1988)이 제작한 것을 내용타당도와 구인 타당도를 통해 재편집하였다. 통계 분석 결과 전체적으로 독립변인 모두가 어머니-여고생의 촉진적 의사소통에 대해 유의미한 영향력이 있음이 확인되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 어머니의 학력이 높고 여고생이 학업성취도가 높을수록, 가정의 생활수준이 높고 여고생이 가정 분위기를 긍정적으로 받아들수록, 여고생이 어머니 취업여부를 만족스럽게 지각할수록, 여고생은 어머니가 여고생 자녀와 솔직한 대화를 통해 신뢰관계를 형성하고, 자녀에 대해 깊은 관심과 존중을 전달하며, 구체적이고 명료한 통해 자녀의 자기 탐색을 촉진하는 것으로 받아들임을 시사한다.
This research aims to examine the influence of mother's scholarship, daughter's academic achievement, standard of household living, daughter's perceived satisfaction of her life, daughter's perceived satisfaction of mother's working and non-working on mother-high school girl's facilitative communication. Cluster sampling with stratification was conducted among high school girls in Seoul. A total of 670 questionnaire sheets were administered to 13 high schools for girls in December 2001. Only 501 sheets were used for data analysis, using SPSS 10.0 material analysis. The questionnaire of mother-daughter facilitative communication was based on Carkhuff's(1967) and Ma's(1988) inventory, it was revised through content validity & construct validity. In general, the results turned out that all independent variables have meaningful influence on mother-high school girl's facilitative communication. Therefore, the higher mother's scholarship is; the higher daughter's academic achievement is; the higher the standard of household living is; the higher daughter's perceived satisfaction of her life is; the higher daughter's perceived satisfaction of mother's working and non-working is, the more open; the more respectful; the more acceptable communication between mother and high school girl is.
