최근 상담서비스의 제공이 확대되고 이용자도 증가하는 등 상담활동이 활발해 지고 있으며, 이에 따라 전문상담가를 양성할 필요성이 더욱 증대되고 있다. 본 연구는 전문상담가 양성기관인 대학원 상담교육의 실습훈련에 대한 실태를 분석하고 석사후 전문상습가 훈련을 위한 프로그램 모형을 시도한 것이다. 연구를 위하여 대학원에서 상담 및 임상울 전공으로 석사과정을 수료했거나 졸업한지 2년 이내인 사람돌율 대상으로 설문조사를 하여, 대학원 수강과 목, 실습여부, 실습장소, 실습내용 둥이 분석되었다. 그 결과 대학원에서 실습을 경험한 사람들은 64.3%로 대개 대학 학생생활연구소에서 실습한 것으로 나타났다. 대학 학생생활연구소에 적합한 전문상담가 훈련 프로그램의 구상을 위해 외국 대학 상담소의 internship 프로그램이 검토되었다. 이를 바탕으로 한국 상담 및 심리치료 학회의 상담심리전문가 자격요건에 부합할 수 있도록 1년 과정을 단위로 한 internship 프로그램 내용들이 제시되었다.
Recent increase of counseling service demands more professinal counselors be produced. The present study attempted to investigate the quality of counselor education program for Master Degree, and to establish the Internship Program model in university counseling center. A questionnaire was admininistered to the graduate students who majored in counseling or clinical psychology. They finished their course-work or thesis within two years prior to the surrvey. Data were analyzed on their courses, practicum institutes, activities for the practicum training, etc. About sixty-four percent of the fourty-two respondents were practiced in their graduate course, mostly at university counseling centers. For a proposal of professional counselor training program, a foreign university counseling center internship program was reviewed. Finally, an internship program was proposed to provide a quality training for a professional counseling psychologist required by the Korean Psychological Association.
