본 연구에서는 우리나라 고등학생의 진로 태도 성숙 정도를 평가하였다. 구체적으로 남녀 차이, 학년 차이(1학년 대 2학년), 계열별 차이(인문계 대 실업계)에 따른 진로 태도 성숙 정도를 측정하였다. 진로태도를 측정하기 위한 도구로서는 진로태도를 크게 결정성 차원, 현실성 차원, 준비성 차원의 3가지 요인으로 구분한 진로태도 측정 도구를 사용하였다. 일반적으로 남학생보다는 여학생이, 그리고 실업계 보다는 인문계 학생이 높은 진로태도 점수를 보이고 있다. 결정성 차원에서는 성차이, 계열별 차이, 성*계열의 상호작용 효과를 보이고 있다. 하지만, 결정성 차원에서는 일반적으로 여학생이 높은 성숙 정도를 보인다는 이전 연구 결과와는 상반되는 결과를 보이고 있다. 두번째의 준비성 차원에서는 이전 연구결과와 동일한 결과를 보이고 있다. 남학생 보다는 여학생이 높은 성숙 정도를 보이고 실업계 학생 보다는 인문계 학생이 높은 성숙 정도를 보이고 있다. 마지막으로 현실성 차원에서는 3가지의 주효과와 성*계열의 상호작용 효과를 모두 보이고 있다. 한편, 3가지 차원을 비교한 결과, 준비성 차원이 가장 높은 점수를 보이고 있다. 위의 결과를 토대로 우리나라 학생들은 직업을 준비하고 계획하는 데 높은 관심을 보이고 있지만, 현실적으로는 이런 욕구를 충분히 충족시켜 줄 수 있는 교육현실이 마련되어 있는지를 고려해 보아야 할 뿐만 아니라 구체적이고 계획적인 진로지도가 필요하다고 볼 수 있다.
This study was investigated the career attitude maturity of high school students in Korea. Specifically, we measured the differences in the career maturity between sex, among the grade level, and between the curricular. The career attitude scale consists of total score and the following subscale score- Decisiveness, Reality, Prepare. Generally, the results of this study seems that female tend to score higher on measures of career maturity than male. And vocational high school students to score higher than academic high school students. The score of the Decisiveness subscale showed significant main effects for sex, curricular and significant interaction between sex and curricular. But, this result seems to be against the previous studies. The Prepare subscale was th second subscale investigated. The results of second subscale seems to be supported by the previous studies. Female tend to score higher than male, and academic school students to be showed higher than vocational school students. Ther results of the Reality subscale showed significant main effects for sex, curricular, and grade. Ther also was a significant interaction between sex and curricular. Among three subscale, the score of Prepare subscale was to score the higher than others. In view of the results so far achieved, students show high interests in their career however, in reality one must consider if such desire can be fulfilled through current education system and one must understand the need for specific and systematical career guidance.
