본 연구는 “한국심리학회지: 상담 및 심리치료”에 게재된 논문을 분석하여 상담심리학의 최근 연구동향을 알아보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2000년 3월부터 2009년 12월까지 게재된 총 484편의 논문들을 대상으로 연구자소속, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구방법, 통계분석 등에 초점을 두어 연구동향을 분석하였다. 이를 위한 통계처리는 빈도분석과 교차분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과, 연구자의 60.7%는 국내 대학교에 소속되어 있으며, 연구주제는 성격 및 적응연구가 36.8%로 가장 많았고 그 다음으로 척도개발연구, 성과연구, 진로 및 적성연구의 순으로 나타났다. 연구대상은 대학생이 37.1%로 가장 많았으며 그 다음으로 청소년, 상담자, 성인의 순으로 나타났고, 연구방법은 86.5%가 양적 연구로 이루어졌으며 12.2%를 차지한 질적 연구보다 현저히 많이 나타났다. 양적 통계분석에서는 변량분석이 24.9%로 가장 많이 나타났으며 그 다음으로 회귀분석, 요인분석의 순으로 나타났다. 질적 통계분석에는 합의적 분석이 가장 많이 나타났으며 그 다음으로 현상학적 분석, 사례분석의 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과가 지니는 의미와 시사점 그리고 상담심리학 연구의 발전을 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to meta-analyze research trend of the Korean Journal of Counseling and Psychotherapy (KJCP) published by the Korean Counseling Psychological Association. Four hundreds eighty four articles published during past-10 years (2000-2009) had been categorized according to researchers, research subjects, research objects, research methods, and statistical analysis methods. Findings of the present study followed. First, the number of articles published has been increased every year. Second, the main research subjects were the personality and adjustment, development of instruments, outcomes, and career and aptitude. Third, common research objects were university students, middle and high school students, and adults. Fourth, the qualitative research method has been used mainly. The implications and suggestions to the future research conducted counseling psychologists in Korea are discussed.
