본 연구는 고교생의 생활스트레스와 자살사고의 관계에서 인지적 몰락의 매개효과를 살펴보고 고등학교 계열별로 생활스트레스와 인지적 몰락의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 전라북도 내 4개시의 8개 고등학교 856명(인문계 294명, 실업계 319명, 예술계 243명)의 자료를 사용하여, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 매개효과 검증 및 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 생활스트레스 하위요인, 인지적 몰락 하위요인 및 자살사고는 정적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 구조방정식 모형을 통한 자료 분석 결과 측정모형이 자료에 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 인지적 몰락이 생활스트레스와 자살사고간의 관계를 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 계열별 다집단 분석을 통해 본 연구에서 제시된 완전매개모형의 구조는 모든 계열에 동일하게 적용 된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 계열별로 인지적 몰락을 유발하는 생활스트레스 하위요인에는 차이를 보였으나 인지적 몰락 하위요인에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 청소년의 자살연구 및 자기파괴 행위에 인지적 몰락에 대한 다양한 연구가 필요하며 계열에 따라 자살예방을 위한 접근방식을 달리 할 필요성이 있음을 시사하는 결과이다.
The purpose of the current study was to examine the relation between life stress and suicidal ideation and mediation effects of cognitive deconstruction on the association. Eight hundred fifty five high school students (i.e., 294 academic high school, 319 vocational high school, and 243 arts high school students) completed the self-reported questionnaires for life stress and suicidal ideation. Correlational analyses, step-wise regression analysis, and structural equation modeling were employed to investigate those relations. Findings in the study showed that life stress and cognitive deconstruction was positively correlated with suicidal ideation. Second, cognitive deconstruction fully mediated the relation between life stress and suicidal ideation. Third, sub-factors of life stress which lead to cognitive deconstruction varied according to the school type. Implications and limitations of the present study are discussed.
