본 연구는 전문상담교사가 집단 수퍼비전을 어떻게 경험하고 있는지 경험의 구성요소를 발견하고, 발견된 경험의 구성요소들이 어떠한 구조를 가지는지 밝힘으로써 전문상담교사의 집단 수퍼비전 경험을 심층적으로 이해하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 집단 수퍼비전 참여 경험이 있는 현직 전문상담교사 9명과의 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, Strauss와 Corbin이 제시한 근거이론 자료 분석 절차에 따라 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 전문상담교사의 집단 수퍼비전 경험과 관련된 117개의 개념과 43개의 하위범주, 17개의 범주가 발견되었으며, 패러다임 모형을 구성함으로써 발견된 범주 간의 관계를 파악할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 통해 전문상담교사 집단 수퍼비전이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지에 대한 전체적인 구조를 파악할 수 있었으며, 집단 수퍼비전이 전문상담교사에게 있어서도 중요한 전문성 발달의 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 전문상담교사 집단 수퍼비전에 관한 시사점과 이후의 연구 과제에 대해 논하였다.
The purpose of this study is to gain a thorough understanding of the professional school counselors’ group supervision experiences by identifying the components of the experience and revealing the structure of the discovered components of the experience. For this, nine professional school counselors were interviewed and their data were analyzed using Strauss & Corbin’s grounded theory approach. As a result, 117 concepts, 43 subcategories, and 17 categories were extracted. A paradigm model was used to discover the relationships between categories. As a result of the findings, the overall structure of professional school counselors’ group supervision has been revealed. This study also confirmed that group supervision is an important method of professional development for professional school counselors. On the basis of these findings, implications and future research directions were proposed.
