이 연구의 목적은 청소년내담자 역할훈련 영상프로그램이 상담준비도, 불안, 그리고 상담성과(상담만족도, 상담예상회기수)에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 본 프로그램은 우리나라 청소년들의 상담에 대한 인식 및 태도에 대한 탐색적 조사결과를 토대로, 9분20초 길이의 영상물로 개발되었다. 프로그램의 효과검증을 위하여 상담경험이 없는 일반청소년 384명과 청소년내담자 84명을 대상으로 실험집단(본 프로그램), 통제집단(중성자극), 비교집단(상담안내지시문) 사전사후설계를 하였다. 일반청소년은 사전사후검사로 상담준비도와 불안검사를 하였고, 청소년내담자는 사전사후로 상담준비도와 불안검사를 하고, 1회 상담을 하고 나서 상담만족도와 상담예상회기수 검사를 하였다. 결과분석을 위해 상담준비도와 불안은 구획분할교차요인설계를, 상담성과변인은 일원변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 일반청소년과 청소년내담자 모두에서 본 프로그램이 상담준비도를 가장 유의미하게 증가시켰다. 불안수준은 유의미하게 감소하였으나, 집단간 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 상담성과변인에서는 집단간 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이를 통해, 본 프로그램이 일반청소년과 청소년내담자 모두에게 상담준비도를 높이는데 가장 효과적이고, 불안을 감소시키는 유용한 상담개입전략임을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 일반청소년의 상담이용가능성과 청소년내담자의 상담성과를 높이기 위한 개입전략의 필요성을 시사한다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a videotaped role induction program, designed for Korean adolescent clients based on the findings of Korean adolescents' perceptions and attitudes toward counseling. The participants (384 adolescents and 84 adolescent clients) were assigned to one of the following groups: anexperiment group (the target program developed for this study), a control group (neutral), and comparison groups (provision of documents to introduce counseling). The dependent variables included clients' preparation for counseling, anxiety, satisfaction, and expected counseling sessions. The study results suggested that the experiment group turned out to be the most effective one in increasing the client preparation for counseling and somewhat effective in decreasing anxiety. This study has implications for the improvement of counseling accessibility and outcomes for adolescents.
