정서적 자각, 표현, 및 정서표현에 대한 양가성과 대인관계간의 관계에 대한 연구

A Study on the Relationship Between Emotional Awareness, Emotional Expressivity and Ambivalence in Terms of Emotional Expressiveness in Interpersonal Relationships

초록

본 연구는 정서자각, 표현, 및 정서표현의 양가성과 대인관계간의 관련성을 검증하기 위해 대학생 516명을 대상으로 하여 정서자각, 표현, 정서표현의 양가성과 대인관계를 측정하여 각 척도들 간의 상관관계, 회귀분석 및 경로분석을 실시하였으며 성별에 따른 요인들 간의 관련성을 확인하였다. 각 척도들간 상관분석 결과 정서자각, 표현과 대인관관계간의 유의미한 정적상관이 있었고, 정서자각, 표현 그리고 대인관계와 정서표현의 양가성과는 부적상관이 있었다. 정서자각, 표현, 정서표현의 양가성이 대인관계에 미치는 영향력을 확인해 본 결과, 정서자각, 표현, 정서표현의 양가성이 대인관계에 영향을 미치고 특히 정서자각과 정서표현이 가장 높게 대인관계에 영향을 미쳤다. 경로분석 결과 정서자각이 대인관계에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 정서표현을 매개로 하여 모형이 검증되었다. 또한 성별에 따른 결과 분석에서는 정서표현은 남자보다 여자가, 표현의 양가성은 여자보다 남자가 높았다. 그리고 성별의 차이에서는 여자가 남자에 비해 정서표현이 대인관계에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점등을 논의하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between emotional awareness, emotional expressivity and ambivalence in terms of emotional expressiveness in interpersonal relationships. The results of the study were as follows; First, there were significant positive correlations among emotional awareness, emotional expression and ambivalence in terms of emotional expressiveness as well as negative correlations with emotional awareness, emotional expression, international relations. Moreover, there was a mediating effect of emotional expression on the relationship between emotional awareness and interpersonal relationship. The results also suggest that emotional expression was identified as a mediating variable in the relationship between emotional awareness and interpersonal relationships. Women scored significantly higher than men on expressiveness and men scored significantly higher than women on ambivalence over emotional expression. Secondly, there was the influence of international relationship upon emotional awareness, as well as ambivalence in regard to emotional expression and emotional expressiveness.
