본 연구에서는 대학생의 부모애착, 심리적 독립 및 우유부단이 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로미결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 진로상담에 있어서 내담자의 성격적 측면과 부모와의 관계적인 측면을 고려한 통합적 접근방식의 필요성을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학생 302명을 대상으로 단계적 회귀분석 방법을 통한 조절된 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모애착과 심리적 독립은 진로미결정에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 부모애착은 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향이 유의했던 반면에, 심리적 독립이 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향은 우유부단의 통제여부에 따라 결과가 달라졌다. 셋째, 진로미결정과 진로결정 자기효능감에 대한 부모애착의 영향을 심리적 독립이 조절하는가에 대한 가설은 부분적으로 지지되었다. 심리적 독립이 진로결정 자기효능감을 통한 부모애착의 진로미결정에 대한 간접효과를 유의하게 조절하지는 못하였으나 진로미결정에 대한 부모애착의 직접효과에는 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 진로미결정에 미치는 진로결정 자기효능감의 영향은 매우 유의하였는데 그 유의성은 우유부단 수준에 따라 큰 편차를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과는 관계적 요소나 성격적 요소들이 진로상담에서 다뤄질 필요가 있음을 지지해주고 있는 동시에 효과적인 상담개입을 위해서는 두 가지 요소들이 동시에 고려될 필요가 있음을 시사해 주고 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine whether psychological separation and indecisiveness moderated the mediational effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on the relation between parental attachment and career indecision. Three hundred two college students were recruited for this study. Findings in the study showed that 1) parental attachment and psychological separation were significantly related to career indecision; 2) psychological separation did not significantly moderate the mediational effect of career decision-making self-efficacy on parental attachment and career indecision, but significantly moderated the direct effect of parent attachment on career indecision; and 3) the career decision-making self-efficacy was significantly related to career indecision and the relationship between these two variables was significantly moderated by indecisiveness. Implications and limitations of the current study are discussed with suggestions for further research.
