본 연구는 상담심리치료 수퍼비전에서 수퍼바이지의 부정적인 경험에 영향을 미치는 다양한 심리 사회적 요인과 과정을 확인하고, 수퍼바이지들이 부정적인 수퍼비전 경험을 어떻게 해결해 가는지 그 대처 과정과 결과를 설명하는 실체 이론을 개발하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 개인 수퍼비전에서 갈등을 경험한 바 있다고 보고한 상담심리사 2급 자격증 소지자 7명을 심층면담 한 자료를 근거이론 방법을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과 196개의 개념과 54개의 하위범주, 19개의 범주가 도출되었고, 중심 현상으로는 ‘관계의 벽에 부딪혀 한 개인으로서, 상담자로서 혼돈에 빠짐’으로 밝혀졌으며 이를 중심으로 참여자들의 경험에 대한 패러다임 모형이 도출되었다. 수퍼바이지의 부정적인 경험을 통한 변화 과정은 수퍼비전에서 혼란을 경험하는 단계, 수용하고 맞추려고 시도하는 단계, 단념과 포기의 단계, 나름의 대처를 고안하는 단계, 빠져나와 바라보는 단계, 성찰과 통합의 단계로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에서 밝혀진 수퍼바이지의 부정적인 경험의 실체를 논의하였고 이를 바탕으로 한 상담심리치료 수퍼비전의 실제에 대한 제언을 하였다.
This study was conducted to identify psycho-sociological factors and process, which might influence supervisees’ negative experience in counseling supervision. Additionally, substance theory explaining coping process and following results regarding how to resolve the negative experiences was researched. In doing so, 7 counselors with more than a year of supervision experience were interviewed and their responses were analyzed through grounded theory method. The main phenomena was ‘being reduced to a chaos as a counselor and as a person, bumped into block of relationship’. Process of change through supervisees’ negative experiences was from the step of experiencing chaos in supervision, the step to try to accept and adjust, the step of abandonment, the step to contrive kinds of solutions, the step to see out of chaos, and to the step of introspection and combination. The implications of the current study are discussed and the reality of counseling supervision is suggested.
