본 연구는 한국 대학생을 대상으로 거부민감성을 측정하는 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 국내외의 선행연구를 분석하여 거부민감성의 개념을 구성하였고, 이를 바탕으로 78개의 예비문항을 제작하였다. 또한 척도의 요인구조를 탐색하기 위해 국내 4년제 대학생 228명을 대상으로 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석 결과, 16문항으로 이루어진 4개 요인이 확인되었는데 1요인은 ‘예기분노’로 거부를 기대할 때 느끼는 분노감, 2요인은 ‘예기불안’으로 거부를 기대할 때 느끼는 불안감, 3요인은 ‘과잉반응’으로 거부를 지각했을 때의 반응, 4요인은 ‘거부로 지각’으로 애매모호한 거부단서를 거부로 지각하는 것을 측정하였다. 다음으로 국내 4년제 대학생 201명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석 및 타당화 검증을 실시하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, 대안모형이 적합함을 확인할 수 있었고 대안모형의 수렴타당도, 변별타당도, 증분타당도 모두 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 4주 후 실시한 재검사를 통해 안정적인 검사-재검사 신뢰도를 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to validate a Korean version of the rejection sensitivity scale. After thoroughly reviewing both domestic and international studies, a rejection sensitivity scale of 78 items was produced. 228 university students were selected and an exploratory factor analysis was constructed and utilized resulting in four factors consisting of 16 items each. Factor 1 related to expected anger and factor 2 focused on expectation anxiety. Factors 3 and 4 focused on overreaction and rejection perception, respectively. In sequence, a confirmatory factor analysis and a validity analysis were carried out on data obtained from 201 of the selected students. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the goodness-of-fit for the alternative model, and validity was established. A retest, conducted four weeks later, confirmed the test-retest reliability of the model. Academic significance, suggestions, and limitations of the study are discussed.
