본 연구는 대학생의 성인애착(불안애착, 회피애착)과 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정어려움(Emotional and Personality-Related Aspects of Career-Decision-Making Difficulties)의 관계를 살펴보고, 이들의 관계에서 탈중심화와 정서조절곤란이 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 대학생 237명을 대상으로 성인애착, 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정어려움, 탈중심화, 정서조절곤란 등을 측정하는 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS PROCESS를 활용하여 이중매개 효과를 분석하였으며, Bootstrap 방법으로 간접효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 그에 대한 연구결과는 첫째, 불안애착은 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정어려움에 정적 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으나, 회피애착은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 불안정 성인애착과 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정어려움의 관계에서 탈중심화의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았고, 정서조절곤란의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 불안애착과 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정어려움의 관계에서 탈중심화와 정서조절곤란이 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 확인되었으며, 간접효과의 유의성은 Bootstrap 분석을 통해 검증되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 대학생 진로상담 실제에 대한 활용 그리고 추후 연구의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between insecure adult attachment and emotional and personality-related aspects of career-decision-making difficulties (EPCD) in college students, and to evaluate how decentering and emotional regulation difficulties mediate this relationship. Participants were 237 college students who were administered questionnaires measuring adult attachment, EPCD, decentering, emotional regulation difficulties, etc. The results indicated that anxious attachment had a positive effect on EPCD, while avoidant attachment had no significant effect. Emotional regulation difficulties had a significant mediating effect on the relationship between adult attachment and EPCD, while decentering did not. Decentering and emotional regulation difficulties serially mediated the relationship between anxious attachment and EPCD, and further, the indirect effect was significant. Based on these findings, implications for career counseling for college students and directions for future research are discussed.
