본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생이 지각한 스트레스가 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 우울의 매개효과와 자기자비의 조절효과를 포함하는 조절된 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 경기도 지역 4개 초등학교의 5, 6학년 학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 이 중 518명(남 269명, 여 249명)의 자료를 SPSS Macro를 사용하여 매개효과, 조절효과, 조절된 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스트레스는 우울 및 공격성과 정적 상관관계를, 자기자비와는 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 우울은 공격성과 정적 상관을, 자기자비와는 부적 상관관계를 보였으며 공격성과 자기자비는 부적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 스트레스와 공격성의 관계에서 우울의 매개효과가 유의하였다. 셋째, 자기자비는 스트레스와 우울의 관계를 조절했다. 넷째, 스트레스가 우울을 매개로 공격성에 영향을 주는 간접효과를 자기자비가 조절하여 조절된 매개효과가 유의하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구에 대한 의의와 상담 실제를 위한 시사점을 논의하였고, 연구의 제한점을 바탕으로 후속연구를 제언을 제시하였다.
This study examined the moderated mediation effect of self-compassion on the influence of stress and depression on aggression among 5th and 6th graders of elementary school. Participants were 5th and 6th graders of elementary school in Gyenggi-do who completed self-report surveys. Responses from 518 students (269 boys and 249 girls) were utilized to examine the correlations test, mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation effects using SPSS 21.0 and SPSS Macro. The results showed that stress was correlated positively with depression and aggression, and negatively with self-compassion. Depression was correlated positively with aggression, and negatively with self-compassion. Aggression and self-compassion were negatively correlated. Second, depression partially mediated the relationship between stress and aggression. Third, self-compassion moderated the relationship between stress and depression. Lastly, the indirect effect of stress through depression on aggression was moderated by self-compassion. Based on these results, implications and limitations of the study are discussed.
