본 연구는 어머니 양육 행동과 외로움의 관계에서 거부민감성과 분노억제의 매개효과를 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구는 경기도 소재의 대학교에 재학 중인 만 19세에서 24세의 남녀 후기청소년 443명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 어머니의 양육 행동이 외로움에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성과 분노억제가 매개효과를 나타냈다. 구체적으로, 어머니의 돌봄적 양육 행동은 거부민감성과 분노억제를 통해 외로움에 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났으며, 어머니의 과보호적 양육 행동은 외로움에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 거부민감성과 분노억제를 통해서 간접적으로도 외로움에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 하여 연구의 의의 및 상담 실제에서 연구 결과의 활용과 후속 연구의 방향성 등에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and anger-in on the relationship between maternal child rearing behavior and loneliness. The participants were 443 college students in Gyeonggi province between 19 and 24 years of age. The results indicated that rejection sensitivity and anger-in have mediating effects on the effect of maternal child rearing behavior on loneliness. More specifically, the results showed that mothers’ care has indirect effects on loneliness through rejection sensitivity and anger suppression. Additionally, mothers’ overprotection not only directly influences loneliness, but also indirectly influences loneliness through rejection sensitivity and anger-in. Based on these results, implications for counseling practice and future research are discussed.
