아동상담자의 윤리적 실천행동 척도 개발

Development of an Inventory for Ethical BehaviorAbout Child Counselor

초록

본 연구에서는 국내에 적합한 아동상담자의 윤리적 실천행동 척도를 개발하여 그 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하고자 하였다. 척도 구성을 위해 외국의 선행연구와 윤리강령을 통해 4개의 윤리적 영역을 추출하고, 선행연구들의 척도와 예비조사의 내용분석 결과를 종합하여 척도의 문항들을 구성하였다. 예비조사는 국내 아동상담자 30명을 대상으로 실시되었는데, 4개 영역에서 경험한 윤리적 딜레마 상황과 대처행위를 파악한 후, 빈도가 높은 응답들을 문항 구성에 활용하였다. 이런 과정을 통해 총 129개의 문항이 추출되었고, 총 199명의 아동상담자를 대상으로 본 조사를 실시하였다. 문항양호도 작업을 통해 22개 문항을 제거하였고, 타당도 검증을 위한 요인분석을 통해 77개의 문항이 제거되어 총 30개 문항이 최종적으로 선정되었다. 본 척도는 4개의 요인구조를 나타내었고, 이는 선행연구에서 추출한 4개 윤리적 영역과 마찬가지로 ‘치료적 관계 구조화’ ‘치료의 적합성과 효과성’ ‘아동상담자의 능력’ ‘비밀보장 및 사생활 보호’로 명명되었다. 척도의 신뢰도(Cronbach ⍺와 반분신뢰도)도 양호한 수준으로 나타났고, 전체와 요인 간의 상관도 유의하게 나타나 구성타당도도 입증되었다. 이 같은 결과는 개발된 아동상담자의 윤리적 실천행동 척도가 타당하고 신뢰로우며, 국내 아동상담자의 윤리적 실천행동을 측정하는 도구로 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보여준다.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to develop an instrument for ethical behavior about child counselor and to evaluate the validity of it. We referred to the antecedent studies and formal ethical standards of professional organizations and implemented a pilot study of 30 child counselors to make the instrument which was composed of 129 questions. The survey consisting of 129 questions was performed for 199 child counselors. First, 22 questions were excluded by the result of item discrimination. And, 77 questions were excluded by the result of factor analysis. Finally, remaining 30 questions were categorized into 4 sub-variables. They were named as follows: Structuring of therapeutic relationship, Adequacy and efficacy of treatment modality, Counselor's competence, Confidentiality and protection of privacy. The reliability of total score and each sub-variable(Cronbach ⍺ & split-half reliability) was high. The correlation between total score and sub-variables was significant. This study showed the developed instrument is valid and provide a basis for further studies in ethical behavior about child counselors.
