본 연구에서는 수퍼바이지의 자기개방에 영향을 미치는 개인 내적 요인으로 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착, 수퍼비전 관계 요인으로 역할갈등, 그리고 문화적 요인으로 아시아의 문화적 가치를 설정하고 이 요인들 간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 최근 6개월 이내 개인 수퍼비전을 받은 경험이 있는 수퍼바이지 392명을 대상으로 수퍼비전 애착 전략 척도, 역할갈등 척도, 수퍼바이지 비개방 척도, 그리고 아시아의 문화적 가치 척도에 응답하도록 하였다. SPSS Macro를 사용하여 자료를 분석한 결과, 첫째, 역할갈등은 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착-회피와 수퍼바이지의 자기개방 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 역할갈등은 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착-거절과 수퍼바이지의 자기개방 간의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아시아의 문화적 가치 척도의 하위척도인 규범에 대한 동조는 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착-회피와 수퍼바이지의 자기개방 간을 조절하였다. 넷째, 아시아의 문화적 가치 척도의 하위척도들은 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착-거절과 수퍼바이지의 자기개방 간을 조절하지 않았다. 다섯째, 수퍼바이지의 불안정 애착-회피는 역할갈등의 매개를 통해 수퍼바이지의 자기개방에 영향을 미치는 동시에 규범에 대한 동조와의 상호작용을 통해 수퍼바이지의 자기개방에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과가 추후 연구와 실제에 주는 의의와 한계를 논의하였다.
This study conceptualized supervisees’ insecure attachment as an individual internal factor, role conflict as a supervisory relationship factor, and Asian cultural values as a cultural factor potentially affecting supervisees’ self-disclosure, and investigated the relations among these variables. A total of 392 supervisees, who had recently engaged in individual supervision within the past 6 months, completed the following questionnaires: SASS, RC, SNDS, and AAVS-M. Analyses indicated that role conflict mediated the relations between insecure attachment-avoidant and insecure attachment-rejection and self-disclosure. Conformity to norms of Asian cultural values moderated the relation between insecure attachment-avoidant and self-disclosure. Asian cultural values did not moderate the relation between insecure attachment-rejection and self-disclosure. Finally, insecure attachment-avoidant had an effect on self-disclosure through the mediation of role conflict and the simultaneous moderation of conformity to norms. Limitations and implications for research and practice are discussed.
