본 연구에서는 청소년을 대상으로 정서적 학대 경험이 초기부적응도식, 정서조절곤란을 거쳐 비자살적 자해에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 학생과 학부모가 참여에 동의한 445명의 중․고등학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 이 중 자해기능평가지(FASM)에서 최소 1회 이상 자해를 했다고 응답한 151부(34%)에서 불성실한 응답 8부와 자살의도가 있었다고 응답한 11명의 자료를 제외하여, 최종적으로 비자살적 자해행동을 하였다고 응답한 132명의 설문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서적 학대와 비자살적 자해의 관계에서 초기부적응도식 중 단절 및 거절도식이 완전매개효과를 보였다. 둘째, 정서적 학대와 비자살적 자해의 관계에서 정서조절곤란이 완전매개효과를 보였다. 셋째, 정서적 학대와 비자살적 자해의 관계에서 단절 및 거절도식과 정서조절곤란이 이중매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구에서는 정서적 학대가 비자살적 자해에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 경로는 유의하지 않았으며, 단절 및 거절도식과 정서조절곤란을 통해서만 비자살적 자해에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 비자살적 자해의 예방 및 치료를 위한 인지적 요인인 단절 및 거절도식과 정서적 요인인 정서조절곤란에 대한 개입의 필요성을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구를 위한 제언에 대하여 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to verify the double mediating effect of early maladaptive schema and emotion dysregulation between emotional abuse and non-suicidal self-injury in adolescents. To examine the relationship of these factors 445 adolescents, including 92 middle school students and 353 high school students, participated in a survey. A total of 132 questionnaires were used in the final analysis, after excluding those in which participants indicated suicidal intentions or responded insincerely. The results indicated that early maladaptive schema had a full mediating effect on the relationship between emotional abuse and non-suicidal self-injury. Additionally, emotion dysregulation had a full mediating effect on the relationship between emotional abuse and non-suicidal self-injury. Finally, early maladaptive schema and emotion dysregulation had a full double mediating effect on the relationship between emotional abuse and non-suicidal self-injury. The implications and limitations of these results are discussed.
