본 연구의 목적은 내현적 자기애와 폭식 행동의 관계에서 수치심과 분노의 매개 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 20∼39세 성인 여성 300명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0을 사용하여 구조 방정식 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 주요 변인들은 모두 서로 간 유의미한 상관을 보였다. 내현적 자기애와 폭식행동, 수치심과 분노는 모두 서로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애는 세 가지 경로를 통해서 폭식행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 첫 번째 경로에서 내현적 자기애는 수치심의 완전매개를 통하여 폭식행동에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 두 번째 경로에서 내현적 자기애는 분노의 완전매개를 통하여 폭식행동에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 세번째 경로에서 내현적 자기애는 수치심, 분노의 순차매개를 통하여 폭식행동에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 연구의 대상을 20∼39세의 여성으로 연령의 범위를 확대시키고, 내현적 자기애가 폭식 행동에 미치는 영향에 있어서 수치심과 분노의 구조적 관계를 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of shame and anger in the relationship between covert narcissism and binge eating behaviors. Three hundred women between the ages of 20 and 39 years participated in this study, and structural equation analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 and Amos 22. 0. The results of this study are as follows. First, shame and anger completely mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and binge eating behavior. Second, shame and anger sequentially double-mediated the relationship between covert narcissism and binge eating behavior. This study is significant in that it revealed the structural relationship among shame, anger, covert narcissism, and binge eating behavior. Finally, the study's limitations and future research directions were discussed.
