본 연구는 여자 대학생들을 대상으로 불안정 성인애착과 성적 자기주장 간의 관계에서 거절민감성과 자기침묵이 각각 매개하는지, 나아가 두 변인이 순차적으로 매개하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 전국의 여자 대학생 402명을 대상으로 하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 수정된 친밀관계경험 척도, 성적 자기주장 척도, 거절민감성 척도, 자기침묵 척도를 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 구조방정식 모형의 적합성과 경로분석을 실시한 결과, 본 연구에서 설정한 구조모형은 불안정 성인애착인 불안애착, 회피애착과 성적 자기주장과의 관계를 설명하기에 적합한 모형임을 확인하였다. 불안정 성인애착인 불안애착, 회피애착과 성적 자기주장과의 관계에서 거절민감성과 자기침묵의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 불안애착의 경우 거절민감성과 자기침묵 모두 완전매개효과가 나타났으나, 회피애착의 경우는 거절민감성은 완전매개효과가 나타났지만 자기침묵과는 유의미하지 않았다. 그리고 불안애착, 회피애착과 성적 자기주장과의 관계에서 거절민감성과 자기침묵의 순차매개 효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 주요 결과의 시사점과 연구의 의의 및 제한점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of rejection sensitivity and self-silencing on the relationship between adult attachment and sexual assertiveness in female college students. Data from 402 college students was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The main results are as follows. The results indicated that rejection sensitivity had a full mediating effect on the relationship between adult attachment (attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance) and sexual assertiveness. Additionally, self-silencing had a full mediating effect on the relationship between adult attachment anxiety and sexual assertiveness. But self-silencing did not have a significant effect on the relationship between adult attachment avoidance and sexual assertiveness. Finally, rejection sensitivity and self-silence had a full double mediating effect on the relationship between adult attachment (attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance) and sexual assertiveness. The implications and limitations of these results were discussed.
