본 연구는 지각된 부모의 양육태도와 대학생의 진로태도성숙과의 관계를 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의와 자기제시동기를 매개변인으로 하여 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 대학생 126명을 대상으로 지각된 부모의 양육태도, 진로태도성숙의 목적성과 독립성, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의, 자기제시동기를 측정하였고, SPSS 12.0과 AMOS 5 프로그램을 이용한 구조방정식 모형(SEM: Structural Equation Modeling)이 분석에 사용되었다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 처음에 가정하였던 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의와 자기제시동기가 지각된 부모의 양육태도와 진로태도성숙을 부분매개하는 모델보다 지각된 부모의 양육태도가 진로태도성숙에 미치는 직접경로를 제거한 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의와 자기제시동기의 완전매개 수정모델이 더 양호한 적합도를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들의 함의와 진로상담에의 시사점 그리고 추후연구를 위한 제언들을 논의하였다.
We examined the relation between perceived parental attitude and career attitude maturity as mediated by socially-prescribed perfectionism and self-presentation motivation. A total of 126 undergraduate students completed a perceived parental attitude questionnaire, two career attitude maturity scales (goal orientation and independence), and socially prescribed perfectionism and self-presentation motivation scales. The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Results supported a full-mediation effects model with socially prescribed perfectionism and self-presentation motivation mediating the relation between perceived parental attitude and career attitude maturity. The implications of the results and suggestions for further research are discussed.
