본 연구는 유기불안 척도를 개발하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 유기불안 척도의 문항제작을 위하여 문헌연구와 기존척도 분석, 그리고 대학생들과 대학상담자들을 대상으로 그룹토의 및 반구조화 설문지의 분석을 통해 예비문항을 구성하였다. 이후 전문가와 대학생을 대상으로 한 내용타당도와 안면타당도 검증을 통해 66개의 문항으로 구성된 예비척도를 개발하였다. 척도개발을 위해 예비척도를 대학생 428명을 대상으로 실시하고 탐색적 요인분석을 한 결과 3개의 하위요인(유기감, 거절/거부하기, 의존/매달리기) 27문항이 추출되었다. 유기불안 척도 전체의 내적 합치도는 .93이었으며, 하위요인은 .85~.91로 나타났다. 대학생 760명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 한 결과 3요인 모형이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 타당도 검증을 위해 유기불안 척도와 유기도식척도, 대인관계문제척도, 사회적 바람직성 척도, 한국어판 수용-행동질문지, 자존감척도, 그리고 한국판 삶의 만족도 척도와의 상관을 검증한 결과 유기불안척도의 수렴타당도, 변별타당도, 그리고 공인타당도가 검증되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 개발한 척도의 의의와 제한점, 및 후속연구의 필요성에 대하여 논의하였다.
This study was aimed at developing the abandonment anxiety scale and verifying its validity. In order to build items about the scale, pilot questions were devised by searching the literature, analyzing the existing scales, conducting discussions among groups of students and counselors, and reviewing semi-structured questionnaires. 66 items were selected by the content and face validity. EFA on response from 428 students extracted three sub-factors(i.e., emotion of abandonment, distance/denial, and dependence/ excitingness). Internal consistency of the full scale and sub-factors were .93 and .85~.91, respectively. CFA on the responses regarding 760 students were used to verify the validity of the scale and showed that the three-factor model was adequate. After examining interrelations among abandonment anxiety, abandonment schema, interpersonal problems, social desirability, psychological flexibility, self-esteem, and life satisfaction, convergent, discriminant, and concurrent validity were verified. Finally, the meaning and limitations of the scale and the necessity of follow-up studies are discussed.
