본 연구에서는 중학생의 또래애착과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계를 살펴보고, 자존감과 자존감 안정성의 매개효과를 알아보았다. 서울과 경기 지역 중학생에게 청소년 또래애착, SNS 중독경향성, 자존감, 자존감 안정성에 대한 질문지를 배부하여 총492명의 사례가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 주요 변인들간의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해 상관관계 분석을 실시하였고, 또래애착의 세 하위요인과 SNS 중독경향성간의 관계에서 자존감과 자존감 안정성이 매개하는지 알아보기 위해 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 또래애착과 자존감, 자존감 안정성이 SNS 중독경향성에 영향을 미치는 경로는 애착 차원에 따라 다른 것으로 나타났다. 안정애착은 SNS 중독경향성으로 가는 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 자존감과 자존감 안정성이 완전매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 불안애착과 회피애착은 SNS 중독경향성에 직접 영향을 미치는 것은 물론 자존감과 자존감 안정성이 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 안정애착, 불안애착, 회피애착과 SNS 중독경향성의 관계에서 자존감과 자존감 안정성이 이중매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 관하여 논의하였다.
This study examined the relationship of adolescents' peer attachment and SNS addiction and investigated mediating effect of self-esteem and self-esteem stability. For this purpose, 492 middle school students in Gyeonggi-do and Seoul completed the related survey. The correlation analysis of the major variables and the verification of structural equation model were performed to verify the mediating effect. The results were as follows: first, showed the path which self-esteem and self-esteem stability influenced SNS addiction tendency differ by the type of attachment. Secondly, stable attachment did not directly affect SNS addiction tendency yet showed full mediating effect of self-esteem and self-esteem stability. Thirdly, self-esteem and self-esteem stability showed double mediating effect on the relationship of stable attachment, anxious attachment, and, avoidant attachment and SNS addiction tendencies. Finally, the implications of the findings and limitations of this study were discussed.
